"We have eaten here a half dozen times and always enjoyed it. I see the one star reviews here and just don 't agree perhaps the restaurant has undergone changes recently. We recently brought four friends with us and they all enjoyed it as well so we aren 't crazy! As others have said this is a proper sit down restaurant. Not sure where the 'street food ' aspect comes in I will admit I can 't speak to the authenticity of the food, but we regularly eat Indian and we think it 's good. Only thing we were unhappy with was the Aloo Paneer which was very bland. Portions can vary but overall decent value. Service can be tricky too. Have had the same waiter be very inattentive and slow one day, and then a pleasure the next time we were there."

"The food at this restaurant is delicious and there is a decent amount of seating available inside. We have previously ordered food from here through Uber Eats and found it to be tasty. The packing was good and the food arrived fresh and hot on time. When we visited the restaurant, the food was served quickly and hot. Some of the items we tried were Idli, punugulu, onion dosa, poori, upma, masala ravva dosa, and tomato rice. All the items, including the chutneys and sambar, were delicious. The staff was good and the owner was very kind to customers. There are many vegetarian options available, as well as a good selection of non-vegetarian dishes. We highly recommend this place and will definitely visit again."

"Food was okay. We waited over 40 minutes for food. The table next to us came after us and ordered after us, they got their food first and finished before we got our main entrees. Only option for water was smart water. They just dropped the bottle off at our table without us asking and they didn’t let us know before hand that each bottle would cost $3.50 either."

"that will be one of those strata that everyone says there must be more, but, believe me, there is not. five of us from 50 to 70 went to dinner on Saturday. we ordered a cocktail, sat for a few minutes and visited, then ordered another cocktail together with 6 Entre dishes. we had a very normal evening until the owner manager came to the table and said that her bartender said that he had a lot of alcohol and she hoped that the ladies would go home. what? at this point we had a drink every day. one of our party had to argue with the waiter to get his second drink. in my 70 years and a million restaurants I have never experienced an offensive, out of line, outrageous and sexist note. the food was really good, but they will certainly not have to worry about who drives me back home!"

"Right from entering into the restaurant until I exited everything was a bad experience. Interior is in shambles which includes missing ceiling tiles and I could smell mold in the restroom. Food was very bland and looks like it was cooked by a child. Had to wait for 20 minutes for 1 peice of naan everrtime..please avoid this place"

"I went to Sweets and Curry House for the first time, oh my God everything was amazing. We had chicken 65, lamb over rice, butter chicken, chicken Tiki Marsala, butter garlic nan etc. I could not find one thing wrong with this place, eating amazing, prices great and staff was very welcoming. "Tried it once before, it wasn't bad. Last night, it was terrible. Don't know what happened. Saag Paneer and veg korma tasted watered down, and lacked in flavor, vegetables' texture was so unappetizing, the carrots and cauliflower were like soft rubber, no snap, no evidence of freshness at all. Clearly they are using frozen vegetables or something. Chicken tikka was dry dry dry. Samosas also clearly not fresh made, not crispy at all. Same with garlic naan, it was soggy, soaked in oil. Also very sad at the shameful amount of single serve plastic and styrofoam that they use for To-go orders, and then needlessly wrap every single item AGAIN in plastic wrap. Plastic, wrapped in plastic, wrapped in plastic... I literally cried for our earth upon unwrapping every container from a double plastic cocoon . Not worth it."

"Okay so this is my honest review. I ordered takeout so I didn't go in person and I haven't tried the buffet. But my takeout order was out of this world! Some of the best Indian food I've had in southern california. The food is perfectly spiced not too salty not too sweet. Everything was really phenomenal. Also I had called and asked for help because one of my children has food allergies and they were very helpful in making sure that the food would be safe for my family! This is now the restaurant that my husband and I will be going to for special occasions! I'm so glad I gave them a try Indian food can be so hit or miss in the states and this place is definitely a hit! Also our order was very big so we got to try a large portion of the menu and literally nothing was anything less than phenomenal. Looking at some of the other reviews on here, i really just feel like some people in California dont know how Indian food is meant to taste. This place was very authentic. I lived in North India in my 20s and I can say that this food is dead on!"
