"It has been at least a decade since I have been to this location. My friends and I would frequent JT Wheatfields back in the day to listen to the country acts. When I walked in with my friends in the current day, it was a blast from the past and not much has changed at this restaurant, except for the name. We decided to sit at a table near the bar. The waitress wasn't wearing her mask correctly, and was only covering her mouth. She didn't seem to understand that her nose is still getting exposed to COVID. She was also odd. My friend's mom ordered a to-go order and she brought it out with the rest of our food. I'm not sure why she didn't hold off on it, and bring it out with the check. It was evident that I was still eating when she came over and asked if I wanted a box. I don't know why she was speeding up our dinner when there wasn't even anyone in there that needed the table. It was a Monday at 6pm. I don't know how the dining room was, but the bar was pretty empty and we were the only table. I ordered the Oh My Cobb! salad. It was good, but it wasn't exceptional. Salads always taste better when you order them out, but this salad was just ok. I don't think I would order a salad here again. Maybe I should have went with the baked fish, like I was going to. Also, there were so many fruit flies in the place. It was annoying to eat and shoo them away at the same time. The only thing I truly enjoyed was the company and the laughs had at the table. I don't think I will be back and nostalgia won't be pulling me back either."
