"the dinner was fantastic, I love this place in one of my favorite parts of the city. it's impossible to go and not get the catacific prawns. the texture of the crushed filo is so pleasant textural besides the fresh garnishes. they brought me into a seafood mood so paired with the seafood plate that has a great grilled taste that they only get from open flame. the halloumi is incredibly unique because it is such a salty cheese, but between the sesame honey and tomato jam it has this delicious, almost French toast taste. Thanks and always becomes time to swing past when in the neighboring."

"We were never a bad meal for almost any common brunch, lunch and dinner. Drinks are incredibly good and the cocktails are worth the price. Portions are well dimensioned, and you can easily make an app, Entree and Dessert/Coffe without feeling how you have broken the bank or your belt. Great place to get a meal, although there are limited seats for larger parties (especially if you have no reservation). But perfect for a date or 3 4 people!"

"we drove about 1.5 hours to eat here and arrived 19 minutes after the opening. I was surprised to see that the floors had to be swung and tables were wiped out so soon after the opening. we were not greeted when we entered, simply asked to eat or take. After we confirmed that we dinning in us, we were told to scan the menu. we sat and received a lot of free, freshly made pita and zaatar in olive oil (it was very good.) the food we ordered seemed to have taste. I ordered that knife, and it was different than anything I ever had. it was more like a thin piece of maisbrot with melted mozzarella and simple sugar syrup. this place has a beautiful view, but food quality and boring customer service means that I will not be back, especially as it is so far away. this place is listed as a Lebanese restaurant, but it is doubtful that there are any Lebanese cooks in the kitchen. I hope the owners see this review and come with opportunities to make it better. this place has a lot of wasted potential."

Anyway, we didn't take our own bottle. they have a separate counter that is managed separately from a company called university wine company. we ordered 2 bottles of moscato. the really cool part is that the bottle is sold at the same price that is listed on the website $16,) which I thought was quite incredible. a little salty for my taste. but their appetiser and the gyros were delicious. my son ordered the classic moussaka who was great. the place was empty when we visited. they usually fill out at the weekend. a great culinary experience. highly recommended."

"The most amazing and welcoming restaurant in Astoria. The food is always excellent, fresh and original recipes of the Greek and Cyprus cousin. The staff is simply amazing, friendly and welcoming, every time. Family friendly, which is so great. We go there with our 2 years old and we always have an explosion. The atmosphere is simply beautiful, the outdoor dunning area is as beautiful as it is the interior, super cozy and beautiful. If I could give this place 100 stars, I would. Well done Aliada ."

"I came here around 5pm during happy hour to meet a friend. I found no problem getting seats at the bar. I had 2 glasses of red wine, the Rioja and the merlot (merlot was more my taste). We also shared the ropa vieja and the pescado tacos. For dessert we shared the gelato churro waffle. Everything tasted great. I asked if we could turn on the women's national soccer game, which they did. I am certain I was the only one watching. My friend had to leave quickly and the dessert was delayed, so we asked to just switch to a bowl of gelato, but he came out with the one we originally ordered, apologized, and comped it. We ended up scarfing it down quickly because it was that good. The food is a positive improvement from pre-pandemic days and I will be back."

"This is a cute Mexican/Hawaiian restaurant. I didn't make reservation so it was about 30mins wait time that we wanted to sit inside. They have two outdoor space but it's not great for a hot summer. They took down the name and phone number so you can go walk around or get a drink at the bar. When I arrived I saw everyone taking boxes of food when they left thought they were just here for take outs. But actually it's because all the portions are huge at this place. I had the crab Spaghetti I swear it could feed 4 adults. I ate some and pack a whole box and still have a lot left in the bowl. It's a bit of waste to be honest, no one can ever finish the bowl. The nacho is very nice and good flavor, but it's still also very huge portion for appetizer. Service is great, the hostess is very friendly and our waiter is also very attentive."
