"Great service and care add to the exceptional ambiance at Balthazar in SoHo, New York. Regal spot for brunch but be sure to reserve ahead of time as this restaurant fills up rapidly especially with the exorbitant foot traffic around the area. Solo diners get a complementary champagne on the house which was a nice touch and a great surprise. The bread basket was great, and the coffee exceptional as long as it is delivered hot (one of my top ups was not). The Benedict’s are exceptional with the English muffin and the Canadian bacon being very fresh. The home fries were also made from scratch and so I would recommend those as your side. A great experience for exceptional ambiance and food at this Michelin star restaurant. Sitting in the street booth and sipping champagne, I felt like a celebrity to onlookers!"

"Feels tired. But it’s basically all we have in the neighborhood, especially with a place to sit. Thanks landlords!Not enough and overworked “Mexican”workers, so the lines can be ridiculous. Not a dedicated cashier, which would make service smoother. Tables and chairs are old, wobbly and not in a cute antique way.The bagels? They are OK. Nothing like anything one would get in Queens. The spread display is unappealing and the several slabs of smoked salmon in the front case are far from appetizing, pardon the pun. Throw some oranges, some plastic flowers in there, make it look pretty.Should be good but mediocre at best."

"This place has one of the most unique avocado toast I ever had! It has orange, radishes and pistachios and things that you would normally not connect to an avocado toast and might have a hard time to imagine how it is all coming together. But there is a method of this madness. Somehow everything comes together nicely and creates a burst of flavors in your mouth. The orange adds freshness, pistachios supplement the crispy, radishes breaks the monotony of the usual aromas and avocado simply will be the star of the plate. They bake fresh bread there so that your toast also becomes mouthwater. It's a bit expensive, but it's worth it in my humble opinion."

"What amazing service from start to finish. The host had obviously read my request for a table on an upper terrace in the hopes of having it a little more quiet as one of us is hearing impaired. We understood this restaurant was a lively place and didnt expect a truly quiet table. The host was friendly and smiling as he honored our request. We were shown the perfect table however it was EXTREMELY hot on the upper level we apologetically asked to be reseated. The hostess who actually seated us quickly scouted out the restaurant and showed us a potential new table which was the perfect alternative. It was as out of the way as much as possible and we had no problem hearing each other. No one showed irritation that we had requested the change. Our server, Namik was outstanding. Friendly, knowledgeable, professional and efficient without rushing us. He allowed us time to get settled and enjoy our wine before ordering, and checked in often to make sure we had his attention when we needed it. His good natured personality truly helped make our evening great. I had the beef bourguignion and my husband had the filet mignon. Both were delicious! We agreed that we would absolutely return ASAP. Our night was fun and we felt taken care of. Simply lovely."

"I absolutely adore this restaurant. I have been coming here since I was a young child and I still remember the small train that used to run along the ceiling. The Armenian hospitality here is truly unmatched - everyone is so friendly and helpful. "We paid 47$ (paid cash) for a panini, a lax cream cheese bagel, large iced cappuccino, chocolate cookie and a muffin. At the cashier I was shocked but paid because I thought it is what it is. After 5 mins I walked up to the cashier to ask about the price, and he recalculated around the same price again. I left the place but I could not stop wondering, so I recalculated and according to their signs it should have been 36$.So I just got scamed from a bagel shop."

"such a cool room in a random place of the city! I came for a drink only, but was surprised by their extensive gluten-free and vegan bakery options. I have a hot turmeric latte with mandel milk, gluten-free and vegan banana bread and gluten-free/veganes brat. everything was delicious and a beautiful place to hang on a hot day. it was pretty loud inside, but nothing against the place. I can't wait next time I'm in town!"

"I’m at a loss for words right now. I have been to this business numerous times, and it was a good experience, however, tonight I was parked infront of their business with my car on, taking an urgent phone call and the owner bangs on my side window yelling at me to move because there was apparently gas going into his building. Of course I would absolutely never purposefully do that, and moved immediately, however, banging on my window and yelling at me is bordering harassment. Especially as a woman at night this was a genuinely terrifying experience. He banged so loud I unintentionally screamed. This situation is so incredibly disappointing because I really enjoyed this small business before, however, that behavior is so beyond unacceptable. Had I been asked with respect and not explosive anger to move my car, there would be no issue."

"we discovered this place when we went to stinkin crawfish and decided to come on Saturday morning. the area was lively, had a modern look and a mood. they had a special breakfast at the Torrance location from 8 to 10 o'clock for 9 dollar omelettes. we just missed it so that he got the steak and egg and a coffee and I got a croque-matta and a hazelnut bat. we loved our food, the portion size was moderate and the aromen were good. 10/10 would try again."

"I am extremely disappointed with the quality of macarons and cookies I received from this bakery. My order included 24 macarons of various flavors and a heart-shaped biscuit and cream tower. The macarons were dry and crumbled easily, with some having an artificial taste. The stale taste from the display cooler was also noticeable. However, there were a few flavors that were fresh and moist. The cookie lacked sweetness and the cream was unpleasant. This was given to me as a Valentine's Day gift, making it difficult to tell my loved one that I did not enjoy it. I had hoped for a better experience."

"The staff here is so friendly! We enjoyed chatting and laughing with them. They were quick and the food was great! Prices were very good. The offerings were extensive, lots of choices. We were there every morning for breakfast, and stopped by several other times to buy soft drinks and snacks. They had lots of local customers every time we were there, which is always a good sign. They were really quick, even when the line was long, so don't let that discourage you."
