"I came to this restaurant after seeing some negative reviews on Google while searching for their closing time. However, I strongly disagree with those who criticized this place. I have been a patron since my student days at SJSU and have always enjoyed their delicious food and excellent service. The menu offers a variety of options ranging from Chinese to Italian cuisine, with breakfast and dinner items available at all times of the day, and everything tastes amazing. The prices are reasonable and the location is convenient, with ample parking, though it may be slightly risky to walk around after dark. I suggest exploring the beautiful SJSU campus instead, as the lit up tower and fountain are a sight to behold at night. In my opinion, the negative reviews are unwarranted. "ordered a Turkey, mushrooms and mozzarella omelette and food ordered 9:07 o'clock and food delivered at 9:30 o'clock taste is great. Really expected the restaurant to call back and canceled my order because of the terrible weather. I saw the supplier coming on the bike and felt so bad the conditions were rainy and windy and saw the guy coming on the bike I felt so terrible. I typed the guy 20% wish I could do more. Good work on the omelet the potatoes I usually do not eat, but I will try them. Otherwise, great work will probably order again in the near future."

"Decided to check out a little food history while in Chicago. Overall a disappointment but there were some bright spots. Atmosphere was great...lots of energy and for a birthday, the entire diner sang. It was pretty heartwarming. People werenice and it really felt homey without feeling cheap. Food was ok at best. For a place that prides itself on its baking, theFrench toast looked great but was super dry. And because the bread was so thick, you couldn't get pat it. Definately need tosoak in a batter or liquid before cooking. Pumpkin pancakes served with a ton of whipped cream. Whole thing tasted like a bakedpumpkin pie. Issue was the pancakes were nearly raw in the middle. Bacon we asked for never arrived but at least it wasn't onthe check."

"First time here we got takeout to go and the seafood bisque was amazing! I liked it so much that I ordered a large the next day and they gave me a half full styrofoam cup. It was skinnier but filled to the same height as the small cup we got. I marked the soup line, filled it with water when I was done, and poured it into the smaller container to confirm. Less soup! The person at the counter insisted it was a large. I feel like I got shorted :(Edit: Talked to the chef who was apologetic and offered to make things right , good customer service on her end. Added back a star because it was good bisque."

"My girlfriend and I stopped for an early dinner a couple months ago and were genuinely surprised how good the food was as well as how much fun Jena our waitress was. We've been back a couple more times since and were not disappointed by our meals. The food is always excellent, the price great, the service great regardless how busy the restaurant gets, serving size is amazing and Jena always remembers us!!! We will always request her to be our waitress every time we return which we will. Please share this with her and tell her Mark and Wendy do go to Mangias for her attentiveness, her efficiency and definitely her personality as much as we come to enjoy the amazing food!!!
