"I was delighted to receive a gift voucher to Honey Baked Ham as a gift from my employer. The certificate was for a 9 pound Honey Baked Ham, 2 pages and a cake. I went this morning to use the certificate for a new year? Eve Fest with my family. The general manager of this store refused to honour the certificate by stating that he would not pay the full value of the certificate back from the company. He demanded that I pay the costs that would not be covered by the company team. Since this was not what was outlined on the certificate, I asked him to reconsider it. Not only did he refuse, but he was belly and rude for me. I called the company's customer service team to clear this up while I was still in the store. They apologised effortlessly (while the manager in the background has always been advised and belittle me) but when they were removed, the only thing they could do is to lead me to another store. A formal complaint was filed with the company team and I am on my way to Appleton, the nearest shop to redeem this certificate. I could no longer be disappointed at this location customer service. Shame on him that he is greedy and not a certificate that led me to his store."
