"My boyfriend and I were planning on going to IHOP but the parking lot was packed. We decided to give this spot a try instead, since it's right next door, and I do not regret the decision! Best Diner I've been to. Very quiet atmosphere, and extremely friendly. We were served by Nana and she was super sweet. Their French toast was amazing and they served delicious fresh fruit the hospitality of the staff was wonderful! : I'd definitely recommend to anyone visiting Staten Island for the weekend. They really made us feel welcomed and the food was made with love."

"Car hop was a very innovative and fun time. My only suggestion is they have a check in station when you first arrive and they direct your spot. It was very confusing when we arrived and spent 10 frustrating minutes trying to speak to someone for directions to our parking spot.They said they sent an email but i never got it. Maybe because i reserved on open table. In the end, it was a good experience and would do again"

"Came in today and had their snowy plover and it was surprisingly refreshing. The renovation is fresh and ambience is modern. I was given the VIP treatment from Joanne herself and enjoyed the food. "I visited Ritz Diner to give it a try, and I found it to be quite decent! I ordered the chicken Caesar wrap with a side of fries, and I really enjoyed it—the fries were excellent! Other dishes ordered at our table included the chicken pot pie, fish and chips, and a pastrami sandwich. The fish and chips and pastrami sandwich were served as lunch specials that came with a side of soup and a soda. I tasted the matzo ball soup and thought it was rather bland. The chicken pot pie had a tasty filling, but the crust was so thick that it felt undercooked and overly chewy, which was quite off-putting. Our server was friendly, but we were seated in a spot where the sun shone directly on us, making it uncomfortable at times; I would suggest they consider getting some shades. Overall, I'd definitely return to try something new and to enjoy those fries again!"
