"We had great hopes that the introduction of Tzeva in Sarasota with its diverse cuisine, which is not available elsewhere, would have a new place to patronage. Unfortunately, although the menu was diverse and interesting, the food itself was extremely pedestrian. The hummus was beautiful, but supermarket hummus is better; and the kabobs were short on lamb and chicken (a few small nuggets). Desserts were insignificant. All in all, we have no plans to return. Server was pleasant, but probably had too many tables. The service was painful and annoyingly slow."
