"Being from Georgia, my husband and I consider ourselves connoisseurs of Soul Food and great BBQ! We found this location through Yelp and did not have high expectations for a restaurant with BBQ, Soul Food, Seafood and Gyros! However, the BBQ was pretty good. We tried the ribs, pulled pork, baked beans, Collard greens, Mac n Cheese, potato salad and corn bread. Overall, the food was seasoned well and had a pretty good taste. The restaurant had a smaller, pretty cool, historic feel location. We met the owner, Roscoe, prior to him leaving and he was very friendly and warm. Cons: The sides were obviously warmed up (you could literally hear the microwave); our Mac n Cheese and cornbread was cold. The meat was served with drenched in sauce (typically BBQ restaurants will ask you if you want sauce or serve it on the side). Plus, the sauce was spicy, therefore, an even more reason not to drench in sauce. The sweet tea was watery and tasted more like brown water."
