"Really impressed. I usually head up to Andersonville for these types of offerings but was staying by here off the Blue Line. Decided to walk 10 min here based off of various online reviews. Excellent lentil soup and was really craving it since it was cold out last Tues. Chicken shawarma grilled pita also terrific. Can't beat the price for both. Definitely a gem in Wicker Park. The gentleman (Israeli perhaps? preparing my order was very nice as well. I'll be back for sure!"

"My partner and I left quite underwhelmed. The menu needs to mention that the portions are basically tapas sized. And the fact that you have to order pita as an extra with the dips seems like a money grab. We also ordered trout and found 13 bones in the trout. 1 or 2 is fair, but 13 is just plain dangerous. When we told the server about this last night, she just looked confused and said okay. We weren't looking for the trout to be comped, but I was shocked at how little she cared. I would never go back and would never recommend it."

"I ate at Pizza Karma opening week and had a truly amazing meal with great local beer (check out the tap when they pour it through the bottom of the cup! . The sauces and topping options are quite unique for a pizza joint. I chose the North African harissa sauce, mozzarella, and tofu on a potato chile naan; the flavors were balanced and delicious. I also had the roasted beet salad which has candied pistachios and a vinaigrette dressing I've never had the beet pistachio combination before and I loved it. My wife had the Tomato Fenugreek sauce on her pizza and it was also amazing. Pizza Karma is getting added to my list of top favorite restaurants. I highly recommend checking this place out. Update May 2019: I have been going here every other week or so since it opened and the food still impresses me every time. Update September 2024: Menu has been updated, but everything is still wonderful. The paneer poppers are delicious, the Tikka pizza was perfect, and service was friendly and fast."

I requested hot (or at least warm) french from the counter. she called another employee who approached me and looked at me like I just committed a crime. she described the fries as cold because they were in the pocket they were arrogant the situation approached, told me if I wanted, they could reheat the fries in the oil. "AMAZING! Where the crepes are delicious the paninis, smoothies, soups, coffee, desserts and gelato are also incredible. I've been here several times and really enjoy their Mediterranean panini and the abdominal busher smoothie. Today I had the tomato bisque that was so good that I want to go back and get more. "I bought 2 boxes of baklava—$45 and $20,—both as gifts. When my sister opened her $45 box, we were all there. None of the baklava tasted right—the nuts were all rancid.
