"our waitress was kind. our food came out cold and she didn't come to the table after eating someone else was served. if we were to send it back. my daughter, my grandson, and I had all been drinking cold. my lobster was cold. quite disappointed about the prices calculated. the atmosphere was pleasant with taking out the extremely loud, obnoxious waiter at the table next to us. He claimed to be the trainer for the restaurant. very loud and insane. I would go somewhere else in the future, as it was very expensive and the money of my opinion was not worth it. the brot was warm and very good."

"Lemme tells you something. I've been running restaurants, bars and resorts for 40 years and a steak is a steak! Prepared his great. What really makes an unforgettable experience is your server. Bobby was ours when I enjoyed my 25-year anniversary with my wife. Dude, he's great. From help and suggestions about the wine list (beautiful in itself) to pairing suggestions of our meal, Bobby was on site. Thank you Bobby for making my 25th extra unforgettable!! Ask him for name and I assure you, you will be rewarded with first-class Notch service. The best..."

"I was in the Culver City area and ran into this amazing place. I ordered fried chicken and French fries. It was juicy and very crispy, the coleslaw was the best I've ever had. I also order a German pancakes. It was my first time trying it and I loved it. Definitely coming back. Highly recommend."

"I love the St PAUL Grill, but the lamb chop I had was the toughest lamb chop I have ever had. That was disappointing. The prices are up as well, I had one drink, no appetizers and no dessert. My son doesn’t drink and the bill was $150. A bit disappointing but I knew what I was getting myself in for."

"I am glad this diner is open 24 hours a day. If you come here for breakfast it is better than most diners. The breakfasts food comes out hot and quick. If you want the best value for dinner come here between 3 pm and 6 pm for the Early Bird. Decent selection of meals for the early bird with the choice of soup or salad. The best part of the Early Bird is the free slice of cake valued at about $7.95 per slice. The early bird meals range from 8.95 to about 12.95. Excellent desserts and this brings value to the experience. As far as service, it 's diner service. This place overall is very clean and it shows. The owner Kevin and John do a nice job managing this place."

"Max's of Redwood City used to be a great place for a harder meal, group parties or family excursions. Recently it has actually shown that it is age and is dated. The employees only do their job and through another shift. Once we saw ourselves on the way, now it's a last resort."

"The staff at the restaurant were exceptionally polite and attentive, making them a valuable asset. The food was delicious. The only issue I encountered was with the hotel's parking garage. The automatic exit at Calvert Street tried to charge me $90 for less than two hours of parking. When I tried to exit on Woodley Road, I had gone over two hours and was charged $37. This was a hotel issue, not the restaurant's fault, but it affected my overall experience at the restaurant."

"This is an extremely underrated place that deserves far more attention. The food is excellent and moderately priced. Just had carrot ginger soup which was really good. Do not skip this place! I never miss it when I'm nearby!"

"Visiting from out of town and told we HAD to eat here. Wait time for a Saturday night in Jersey was not bad and the staff fantastic. My salad could have fed four people! Stop here if you are in the neighborhood."

"kfr retentions from return most important to know terrible service. the server took a posture with the cook before the totality of the customers in the diner. the cook did not prepare the meal according to the order. eat it myself, I rarely do that as I am aware of the people without food, I could not even eat. the suppe was what seemed that the dewatering from the eimer in the kitchen. I always order a burger in a restaurant that serves them when it is my first time there. I feel if you can't cook burger properly, then there's nothing else in it. the burger was dry....how do they dry a burger? it's almost as if they go for the worst taste...read more"

"Placed an order for one salad. Came 30 mins after placing and it still wasn't ready. Waited another 10 minutes after arriving. They had one girl working carryout and she was trying but overwhelmed. She yelled at the kitchen 4 times for my salad. I felt bad for her and tipped well. They just need more help like ever where else."

"We love high tea and decided to celebrate our mother’s with Intercontinental Wellington. The service was fabulous and the wait staff very attentive. Unfortunately the food was quite a let down. The savoury food was exceptional in flavour, however there was not enough. There was way too much sweet food; two tiers. There were seven of us and all said there was too much sweet, which not most was. It eaten. We noticed other tables too had left quite a lot of the sweet food; but all the savoury were gone. A better option is to have a tier of hot savoury, a tier of cold savoury and a tier of sweets. This would be a great balance"
