"this place was so great! we were at most other restaurants in redding hesitant, but sweetys is definitiw a hidden gem. our food came out quickly and it was nice and delicious. I got the curled cork with sweet potato fryers, and it was all clear homemade. we also tried their flocks and biscuits that were all delicious. the icy is some of the best I had, and the service was very good."

"I ordered the mac and cheese bites as an appetizer and they were the best I've ever had! They had more cheese than macaroni. I also started with a cup of French onion soup, and every bite was incredibly decadent. I didn't want it to end. The staff was also very friendly. I love this place and will definitely be back whenever we are in Steamboat again!"

"I ordered my eggs on the huevos rancheros over medium they came out slimed white runny so much ? couldn't eat them. Gave it back to them them they didn't offer to fix it just offered something else and charged me for the raw food and fruit bowl I ordered to at least eat something. The gal appearing to be the manager could be heard saying she tried some of it and ate some so I'm charging for her for it. I ate three bites to try if I could stomach some cause it took 15/20 min for her to check on the food with us and woulda taken 20 min to get a new one. Sadly I as a local here I don't think I'll ever come back. Not the place I used to know anymore. Even my fruit was over ripe and sad. I was so excited to go out for breakfast for once and it wrecked the mood of the whole morning..."

"Great Diner bar combo! Breakfast hits the spot, the sausage links are right on the money. Pool tables, friendly service, leather booths, and even a parking lot. Will definitely add the Nite Hawk to my breakfast rotation.Food: 5/5"

"This restaurant is a charming spot to enjoy lunch, but the lunch menu is limited. I was told over the phone that there were more sandwich options available than what was listed online, but when I arrived, there was only a hamburger. This made it quite expensive for a lunch outing."

"Seabass was just ok , not a lot of flavor and it had tons of bones so it was difficult to eat server didn’t do a good job of filleting it at the table. No vegetables on the menu and side dish wasn’t great. The restaurant has a nice ambiance but the experience is not worth the money"

"Going to give it five stars because I support small businesses. The chicken was amazing. I had the fried chicken special with two sides. I had red beans and rice and mashed potatoes. First, the bad. The potatoes were bland and seemed like they were boxed. A little salt and pepper solved that. Now, the red beans were very good. They had this surprising sweetness that I have never had before. I thoroughly enjoyed it. I will definitely order again and try other items."

"Great hidden jewel I missed several times until I saw it on Google cards. It's an older building, but as soon as you get in, it was very welcoming. The waitress made a great job owner, took orders and serving. Coffee was great and the food was freshly cooked to order. I will come back to try out the many elements on their menu."
