"My meal (prime rib French dip) was fabulous. The stuffed pepper appetizers were absolutely delicious, as was the salad bar (it was so fresh and crisp). However, my husband ordered a prime rib and he said the flavor was good but was completely cold.... Not sit on the counter until cooled but out of the fridge chilled. He couldn't eat it but wouldn't send it back. Such a disappointment because prime rib is generally his favorite cut. I doubt I ever get him back there but do think this was a rare … – show"

"Once again I found a place that was delicious enough to write about. Not only is the staff friendly and inviting but the owners daughter in law was extremely attentive and kind. Today my wife and I were taking a stroll in morrow bay area and stumbled upon this gem of a breakfast spot. The coffee pot restaurant offers delicious breakfast food and more with generous servings. I had the pancake one egg and crispy thick bacon and my wife had the super breakfast with french toast! Both delicious. Its refreshing that I finally found a place that knows how to make perfect scrambled eggs that are not runny. The bacon here is thick and smoked. The house potatoes are tasty too. Plenty of coffee and friendly service . You must stop in. Next time I'm in town I'm trying the biscuit and gravy looks amazing or the corn beef and hash.. try it!!"
