"I have been dining at this restaurant frequently lately. Some of the chefs could improve their skills. I really like the cozy atmosphere with the fireplace and candles lit on top. The food is mostly delicious, although I would prefer smaller portions of carbs at a lower price, especially considering the rise in obesity and diabetes. I believe more restaurants should offer a diabetic-friendly menu. The staff is friendly and efficient. The smothered chicken was tasty but too much for me, I would prefer a smaller piece with the toppings. The green beans were delicious. My friend enjoyed the chicken alfredo, but felt it had too much chicken and carbs. The salad was basic with only lettuce, onion, and tomato. I don't like raw onion, so I suggest it be chopped up. It's great that they offer avocado, but it should not be an extra charge. Cucumber should be an option instead of onion. Another friend had the taco salad, which was good but had a larger shell than necessary. It would be helpful to have non-spicy options, such as salsa. The meatloaf was too spicy for me and should be indicated on the menu for those sensitive to spices. The outside was overcooked, and the ketchup should be caramelized while baking. The beef brisket was great, but the au jus was too salty sometimes. The breakfast options are good, although there are too many potatoes for those on a low-carb diet. The home fries are delicious, but it's easy to overindulge. The sweet potatoes I had once were overcooked and not their usual color. I appreciate that they offer honey mustard sauce. The corned beef hash was too salty. Overall, my experience at this restaurant was mixed."

"I have been going to Leafy Greens since I went vegan over 5 years ago. Not only was it the only vegan cafe in the area when I first transitioned to this lifestyle, which was extremely helpful for me, but it was the only fully RAW (at the time) vegan cafe, which was even more helpful because I vegan raw for health reasons. This place gave me a place to dine out with my friends when I began a journey that, at the time, was extremely difficult socially, misunderstood, and underrated. It helped me to maintain a bit of a social life when I otherwise would have struggled immensely with that, and on top of that the food has always been just so phenomenal. The fact that these people stepped completely out of the box at a time when vegan, and especially raw vegan, food was not at all the accepted and even normal cuisine it fortunately has become today as time has passed, was so extremely courageous, inspiring, and beneficial for so many who needed it. I remember the first birthday I had since going vegan, which was just a few months after the transition. I held it at Green Bench brewery and ordered pretty much every item on the menu (which was smaller at the time and, as I mentioned, fully raw vegan) to go and brought it over for myself and all of my friends to enjoy at the brewery. I didn’t tell any of them that it was vegan or raw, and everyone absolutely LOVED it- even my most skeptical meat-eating friends! The only reason it even came into question of how it was made was because the “pizza” was cold (due to being raw/uncooked) rather than warm. Since then, i have regularly brought my friends and family to Leafy Greens to enjoy their every growing menu and always positive, friendly, inviting atmosphere. Some of my friends have even befriended and kept in touch with our servers along the way because the conversation was so friendly and connecting. When Leafy Greens transitioned from fully raw to incorporating some cooked options and I inquired about the changes, the chef personally cave out to me to show me the new menu and explain the items to me. It made me feel so valued and respected as a customer, as a guest, and as a fellow member of our community. I literally couldn’t say enough positive things about Leafy Greens. You all have been absolutely incredible in just every way, CONSISTENTLY, for over 5 years of my experience and I am just so grateful. Thank you for all that you do and continue to do! I have watched over a dozen of my friends and family transition to the vegan lifestyle, without being guilted, forced, or coerced, since I made the choice myself, and a large part of that has been because of the influence by and experience with places like Leafy Greens, and Leafy Greens specifically , sharing incredible food with wonderful atmospheres with people who otherwise believed vegan food to be weird, limited, and unpleasant. From my many friends and family who have enjoyed you all so very much, THANK YOU. I look forward to dining with you again very soon!
