"Unfortunately, it seemed the host, a tall gentleman, mistook me for someone else who had checked in earlier. He insisted that I had approached him twice, which was a surprise to me. Before I could clarify the misunderstanding, he became confrontational, raised his voice, and commented on my demeanor. He even suggested that if I didn’t like the situation, I could leave. His aggression was unnecessary, and he wouldn’t allow me to explain myself. Despite my efforts to deescalate the situation, he only became more agitated and caused quite a scene.
Considering he was quite young, I decided it was best to walk away rather than escalate things further. After that unpleasant experience, I chose to close out my tab. It’s unfortunate because the restaurant appeared to be a lovely place, and the bartender was fantastic. I usually don’t write reviews like this, but I feel it’s unacceptable for staff to yell at customers, especially over a case of mistaken identity. I won’t be returning. I attempted to speak with the manager but was informed by the co-host that she was busy, so I felt it was best to share my experience here in hopes she becomes aware of this issue."
