"Great food and service, especially during restaurant week. We have been to several other places during restaurant week that feel more like catering rather than individually prepared dishes. This was not the case for Zocalo. The pork belly appetizer hit it out of the park with a wonderful smoky flavor and a delicious slaw accompaniment. I had the chili encrusted salmon- nice spicy crust without overwhelming the perfectly cooked salmon. The blackberry ice cream had a kick that was unexpected but delightful. The dulce de leche was just average, I wouldn't get it again. We had the best table next to the fireplace on a cold evening- the food and ambiance were the perfect antidote to the January freeze!"
