"I came for dinner with my boyfriend and did the AYCE option. It was a weekend night so we waited around 50 minutes before we were seated. The food was delicious and it is good quality hot pot AYCE hot pot for Allston. However, both my boyfriend and I were not feeling well after the meal and the day after. I saw that other reviews have said the same thing about stomach issues after eating here and attributed to the spicy soup option. We had two soup options which were the tomato and beef bones, so I wouldn’t attribute the stomach issues to spice intolerance as the other reviews are stating. Aside from the food, our service was horrendous. The table across from us was either friends with our server or a worker there. Our table was entirely ignored the whole service. Although we were seated earlier than the other table, our server didn’t even come by to ask for our order until after the food for the other table came out! Our soup dried up while waiting for our food and our server didn’t add more soup until we asked. We didnt receive more water or missing food until we asked. The whole time, our server was just chatting up with their friends."
