"We had a great first experience here. Our waitress was very polite and helpful in choosing what entrees/drinks to order. Everything tasted great, and it was an extremely reasonable price compared to many other 'fine dining ' restaurants in Gainesville (all or most plates were under $20, many were under $15, beer/wine is $4-5). These guys know how to cook a steak medium rare. If you are looking for a place that is a step above your average dining experience in Gainesville but that is not too fancy or too pricey, Bistro 1245 is a great choice."
