"What happened? This used to be one of our favorite places, but we haven't been there for a few months, and were so disappointed! Martinis took forever to arrive, no breadsticks, etc. with drinks, wine we ordered for main course actually arrived as our empty plates were removed. We used to say we had to slow them down a little so we could have a leisurely dinner, but this was too slow even for us. Food was acceptable. Our server was attentive, checking on us often, but just didn't have anything to deliver to us. It felt like there has been some desperation cost cutting going on."

"While in San Francisco for a family wedding, we needed a place for a pre-wedding dinner with extended family. I made a reservation online for 9 people at this restaurant. The views of the San Francisco Bay were beautiful and we were lucky to have a table by the window. The waitstaff was courteous and knowledgeable, offering recommendations on specific dishes. The food was delicious and expertly cooked. Every single one of our nine guests had nothing but positive things to say about the dishes. The prices were a bit high, but the quality of the food justified it."

"UPDATE FOR NEW LOCATION The new location feels more like a warehouse than a family environment. There is more seating. That is a plus. The food seems to be okay. "My partner and I decided to hit this place up on a Saturday a little after noon. It was fairly chill not super packed but understaffed for the day. That being said the staff was superb and our singular waitress was non stop with bussing and servicing the tables around us. The atmosphere is very laid back and I appreciate that there are several sections for different occasions. There was a general seating area, a 21 and Up Area that was a bit more intimate, an outdoor barn area, and a sports bar area with a large projector screen. I really enjoyed this sectioning off because even though I enjoy pubs and taverns I do have an issue with being overly stimulated or being in too much of a rowdy area for long periods. What we ordered: Scotch Egg Delicious! There was a nice thing layer of beautifully seasoned mince around an egg that was cooked well. The coating was crispy and the egg was soft not rubbery at all! With a little Mayo and mustard this was a delight to have. Steak and Ale Pie Comforting and rich. This had a very thin flaky pie crust on top that my only gripe was that there wasn't more of it for me to indulge in. Brewers Mac My partner ordered this and was so very much impressed. The subtle undertones of flavor that were hidden inside the cheese added fun depth o the dish and the portion was pretty substantial. Chocolate Bread Pudding I ate it so fast there is no picture... As for Beer I had the Irish Stout Jailbreak. Smooth and delicious."
