"If I could put a zero, I would. This was the worst experience I have ever encountered. I sat at the bar and ordered sushi. The bartender who was dressed like she worked at a local country bar, suggested half price bottle night. Since I was there alone, I asked if I can cork the leftover and take home and she said yes. I had 2 glasses and ask for my bill. She bags the wine and I get my bill and it was the full $35. Now the wine that was on the list, she was out of so said she can give me another kind instead. Then when I ask about the $35 she said since it wasn't the one on special, I have to pay full price. I didn't even know what to say. I said why wouldn't you tell me that when you said I can have this instead. Then she says you cannot take the leftovers, that's illegal. And this was after she said I can cork it and take it home. I finally said either your paying the difference yourself, or I am walking out of here and paying nothing. She called her manger and he told her that I must pay the full $35. First, what kind of manager is that and why isn't there a manager on hand there. There was one waitress who heard the entire thing happen and fixed my bill and apologized. She was very sweet and helpful, but this bartender has zero clue how to run a bar. I tell my friend about this, and she said they did the same thing to a group she was with. I think they con people. Perhaps people coming from work with clients who do not pay attention to their bill. Obviously I will never be back there again."

"Been going here since they opened and always loved the Ramen, especially the Suki Ikka Nabi one. Even back when it was a giant two person bowl. Haven’t been here since March. Decided to go last night, immediately the waitress seemed completely off the ball. Took drink orders, never received any. Only left us sitting with four waters. After asking 3 times for a fifth glass for myself, I finally received the tea pot and a glass of cloudy murky water. This took another three attempts to rectify. Constantly giving me back a dirty cup of water with stuff floating around. Eventually had to call over a new waitress. Great, time to take our order. 3 ordered Hibachi and two ordered Ramen. Gave entire order which of course was struggle. Listen I am not for nothing saying this, but if you are a waiter or waitress or work in service industry maybe brush up on English. The lady simply just did not understand how to take an order or anything we’d say. Very frustrating. Around this time we noticed some looks from another nearby table. Me thinking maybe I’m a bit annoyed and my tone has changed. Ten mins or so pass. She comes back with a handwritten note with only our appetizers. We have to now repeat the entire ordering process over again with her. Her not understanding, us pointing to the menu..just unnecessary and aggrevating. Way way too much of a process for a simple menu. Food comes, first appetizers. Then salads, crowding the table. Four salads, only three hibachi dinners ordered. Other two were Ramen. So maybe they all come with salad, of course me with no water also gets no salad. Makes no sense why 4/5 would. But ok. This is when the table next to us all received their full entrees while still having soup and salad. They proceeded to tell us the place about six months ago was bought and new owners and has gone downhill since. If you knew this, why you coming back? No soup is ever brought either for the hibachi dinners. No rice, no fried rice. All dinners at separate intervals too. Ramen comes, mine is missing items and so is the other one. We call her over and tell her, she says ok she will bring them. Nothing ever came. After a few minutes we just ate because we had given up. At the end of the meal we told the other waitress and she offered us free dessert, yeah that never came either. We didn’t care, we just wanted to get the hell out of there. Miserable experience at once a great restaurant. This is not a review regarding the food. That was great still. Just really disappointed how bad the staff was. It was pathetic. "After getting a haircut close by, it was lunchtime and I was hungry so I was on the fence between sushi or salad...sushi won out so I placed an order online. Kept it simple and ordered the fried California roll (called Francesca) and accompanied it with an order of fried chicken and veggie dumplings (Gyoza). Notification said 15-35 minutes. When I walked in about 25 minutes later my order was ready and waiting and a pleasant person behind the register handed me a styrofoam cup with a lid and sealed straw to fill myself at the drink fountain dispenser. While it was a sunny spring day, it was windy so I opted to sit inside and enjoy my lunch. Fried dumplings were nice and crispy, not overly greasy and still a good temperature. The traditional Gyoza sauce had an unexpected spiciness that detracted from the dumplings so after a few tries, I skipped. The Fried California Roll was tasty and the outside was a fried crispy coating but rather than a batter coating, it was more similar to a cornflakes coating. It tasted okay with that coating and it wasn't greasy. The rice seemed unusually large for sushi rice and it crumbled more easily than expected. The other fillings also slipped out easily from their surrounding rice enclosure. Because of the larger sized rice the entire roll was bigger than expected and while it was sliced after frying, the pieces were too big for a single bite and because the oversized rice also didn't stick together well, once you bit one piece in half, the remaining portion promptly began to slip apart. Overall, messiness aside, I thought it tasted fine. They didn't automatically include sliced ginger (or wasabi) which are traditionally served with sushi but fortunately, since I was still eating there, I was able to go up to the counter and ask for ginger which was readily provided. If I were to ever eat here again, I'd want to remember to ask for it in advance....But, it's unlikely I will ever return. In less than an hour after eating this lunch, I began experiencing intestinal issues (not stomach related, no nausea). My intestines were grumbling and cramping for the next 15-25 minutes, followed initially by gas...that eventually led to an unexpectedly urgent drive home. After a prolonged visit down the hall, I managed to resume my remaining errands without further interruptions.Needless to say, I can only speculate that something was either spoiled or cross-contamination occurred in the food preparation area. Either way, it's unlikely I'll be having a craving for sushi from this place, or anywhere else, anytime soon."

"Overall, the food was good, and, as per most hibachi places, the chef put on a good show. Unfortunately, despite our reservation, and my having called ahead to confirm it, we still had to wait 15 minutes for a table without any explanation as to why there was a wait. The man at the front desk was very polite, but given that the restaurant was mostly empty, and we had a well-confirmed reservation, this was very frustrating. Once we were seated, everything was pretty typical. They have a wide menu with good prices. The chicken and shrimp were good. The salmon was underwhelming. This might be because it is not well suited to hibachi cooking. Either way, I don't recommend it. Sadly, they did not serve the shrimp appetizer that was listed as part of the meal. I chose not to say anything as by the time I realized it, I was already feeling rather full. Those of us who ordered white rice had to ask for the waiter to bring it to us, instead of having it come to us after having ordered it initially with our meal. I'm not sure where the disconnect was with the service, but that too was disappointing. The sushi was very tasty. Although, again, they didn't follow their menu description, as one of the rolls was supposed to have asparagus, and it came without it, and no comment on its absence, or explanation why was given. Overall, I would give this place another try, but make sure to clarify aspects of our order and understand that reservation times are more of a suggestion, and likely make the reservation for 15-30 minutes before I'd like to eat."
