"We had reservations for my son's birthday at 8:30p. As I work Mon-Sat. 1-8p on Fridays. We were seated immediately even though it wasn't 8:30 yet and not everyone was there. The young lady asked for our drink order we told her but also told her we had 2 more coming. She acted mad about that. She brought our drinks then wanted our order. We told her we are waiting for the other two. She asked us rudely so you're gonna wait on them? I said um yeah our reservations are for 830 that's still 2mins off. When they got there she asked if we was ready. I said the just sat down can you get their drinks first? She rolled her eyes and huffed. She got upset when we wanted more drinks. She got really upset when I asked for the cake I had her put in the back.. I asked for for plates and forks. She ignored me. Then brought the cake in the sack and got mad when I asked again for plates and forks. Oh and she had them start coming to take our food. I wasn't half way done because they forgot my daughters steak and I gave her mine because he got hers mixed up once he got it and gave it to her medium rare when she asked for med well. He did apologize and fixed it. Then my mom left to go to the restroom she took her food and the ice cream she had just brought her I told her she could leave it. She literally looked at me and took it! Absolutely the worst service ever! I know it was late and closing time but you all offered a group of 8 to come I at 830 for a birthday party. It was obviously gonna go past closing time. Very rude!"

"My husband and I had a great first experience at this restaurant! We were excited to discover that they offer all-you-can-eat Korean BBQ, giving us a good reason to come back in the future. We originally came for sushi, and were pleased to find a variety of delicious options during happy hour. I especially enjoyed the deep fried oysters, which were perfectly cooked with just the right amount of breading, and came with a tasty dipping sauce. I also ordered the tamago (sweet egg sushi) and a tiger roll with mild spicy mayo, which added a creamy richness. The chef did a great job with the sauce. Our server, Ann, was wonderful and attentive. She recommended a tempura cheesecake that sounded delicious, but we were too full to try it. Parking was convenient with a large lot visible from University Parkway."

"We had a reservation but still had to wait 30 minutes to be seated. The waiter was slow and forgot to bring us our soup and salad. The chef had to fetch the sauces because the waiter neglected to bring them. The quality of the food has declined and considering the high prices, the service should have been much better. We have always enjoyed dining at Benihana, but this experience may have been our last. We paid premium prices for a mediocre experience typically found in a shopping mall restaurant, not a fancy upscale one."

"Despite its dark, atmospheric lighting, Kyoto was one of the friendliest and most welcoming establishments in the area. While wandering the streets, my friend and I decided to take a chance on Kyoto for some Asian cuisine, especially sushi. We were pleasantly surprised by the warm greeting we received after our long walk. We were seated in a cozy dining area, with various seating options including tables for 2-8 people, Hibachi, and bar seating. The decor of the restaurant was mainly red and black with soft overhead lighting. Despite the busy evening, the tables were arranged in a way that it never felt crowded. Our waiter was extremely friendly and attentive, making us feel like part of the family. The food was brought promptly after we ordered, with our appetizers coming first. The dishes were authentic and delicious, especially anything with Tako, which I highly recommend. The prices were reasonable for the quality of the food. Overall, my experience at Kyoto was fantastic, and I would definitely return for another dining experience. I highly recommend Kyoto for a romantic date night or a business meeting, as it has a captivating ambiance. Whether you are in the area or staying at a hotel, Kyoto will satisfy your sushi cravings and hunger."

"The price has gone up way too high! Service was not great. It was not worth the amount we paid. I could have went to The Ranch for the same price or less. We have been coming for years and noticed the price increase the last time we were here but this last visit was crazy. Kids meals are now $25! My usual is now $63 which is nuts. "Yeah, five stars. I usually try to find a way to not give 5 because there is always room for improvement, right? Not here. We have been driving for years and have always gone as couples or couples and sat at the bar or bar area. Bartender is AWESOME. Best. Love him! Eat always great. "I've been eating here for over 25 years!! And astonishingly, it has just become better! The food is always delicious and hot and ready in minutes! I never had one thing on the menu that wasn't fantastic! The teriyaki sticks are the best around, but the hidden jewel on this menu is the kantoneless Chicken Sweet and Sour...omg. "this place is like two places in one. on one side you sit on a table and your eating is brought to you. on the other side, you eat before them cook prepared, which also put on a show. I'm sitting on a table. eating is really good. I love the mistsuppe. everything I tried was really good. my only complaining (and I must point out that it is a personal preference) is the noise of the other side. the showmanship of Japanese chefs includes a lot of spatula sound. I know it's part of the show that the girls expect. it's not annoying and it's never gonna stop me from eating there. I regularly go there and will continue to do this. "Great, affordable sushi and sashimi that's definitely worth trying. The quality of the fish and the way the rolls are made are both quite good, though the offerings varied a bit. Personally, I felt that the spicy yellowfin overpowered the dish, somewhat like Lach's avocado. On the non-fish side, the fog and noodle soup were also tasty. They also get extra credit for accommodating a very specific vegan request from our group."
