"Really great experience. The food is superb. Really top notch and every item is prepared to perfection along with great cold sake and plum wine assortment. We had a super loud table near us, complete with 80s disco tune singing. Compounded with the restaurant’s rather loud—and slightly annoying—birthday tradition of gongs and loud singing, it made conversation a little tough. And at 9pm-11pm dining, they did the birthday ritual no fewer than 3-4 times. This has happened at every visit to Flame. We were actually there for a birthday dinner, but definitely avoided mentioning it!"

"Food is always incredibly phenomenal from here. We ordered several different things to try and they were all amazing! This was our first time going in to eat here, we usually order them off of Grubhub. We definitely recommend! The only reason why I didn’t give full five stars is because when we first came in, the hostess seemed miserable and acted like we were a burden for coming in. She warmed up after a while but seemed absolutely miserable and it made us feel really uncomfortable. And when we asked for the check, we were still munching on some stuff and talking but the waitress stood over us waiting and then asked for our payment as we’re still eating..."

"Very negative experience!Absolutely unacceptable!I have decided not to use GrubHub but I go directly on the website and place an order there. The restaurant closes at 10 pm and at 9:50 pm I was picking up the food from the menu and I placed my order at 9:55 pm. My order was canceled 3 mins later by the restaurant. It wouldn’t happened if I would place an order using GrubHub so it’s a huge reason do not do that directly on the website and it tells me everything about their approach to the customer service. Am very disappointed, because I left being hungry. I will never ever order anything from that restaurant."
