"Sushi-Ya calculates an A. My wife and I have been regular (nex) in Sushi-Ya (Garden City Location) over the past 7 years. Sometimes we have experienced the restaurant to be exceptionally crowded, and at other times it is easily protected, but never can I remember that our a difficult or unpleasant time is served with. However, if you are in a hurry to eat and run, you will probably be disappointed, We were long time cartridges of Kisso 's located on Union Tpke in New Hyde Park, but with Sushi-Ya at a somewhat closer distance to our house, we had decided to give it an attempt and never again to Kisso 's. The parking spaces on the front are limited, but there are always enough free parking spaces in the back city property. The staff and especially the owners, Kelly and Eric, are friendly and friendly. They do their best to make you feel welcome every visit. In our experience, food is fine and the portions are very satisfactory. On a sliding scale from F to A, I appreciate our 7-year-old culinary experience at Sushi-Ya as A."

"First we sat at the sushi bar and they offered us twice a on the house roll but we are vegan so didn?t get to enjoy sadly. But they let us make up our own roll and it was so good! The spicy edamame is delicious. And they gave us a complimentary pineapple bowl for Chinese New Year and I?m guessing the manager came over and talked to us about being vegan and her Buddhist ritual of doing vegan twice a year. We accidentally found this place and very happy we did. we live far away from here but we will be coming back. Very good experience"

"ONE waitress for multiple tables, wait times for table service, the check, the bag to go was ridiculous. Our chef was great although she shorted me on the chicken fried rice and had to get my portion from the take out line, which I did not appreciate at all. There were only 7 people at our table and she still didn’t have enough fried rice for all 7. I think the guy in the first seat who was only have rice, got double portions."

"Lauren was our waitress. She was absolutely phenomenal! We had mussels x2, Calamari x2, Sushi Rolls x2 and Udon Noodles with extra veggies and noodles. Drinks: Water all around and hot Jasmine Tea x1. I highly recommend Lauren as a waitress! Her personality, positive energy and connection to food and our needs were warm and welcoming! She made our experience worth our time being there! Thank you Lauren for being you! Absolutely amazing service!"

"We love Izumi's for ?Birthday Celebrations!? Great food we watched being prepared on the Grill in front of us by an amazing grill chef with a superb sense of humor! He was super talented and put on a fun show, too. Everyone loved trying to catch the food in their mouth he tossed! It was all delicious, especially the Filet Mignon! The Shrimp and Chicken is all superb! We've tried it all and live it every time! Last time we came it was for my daughter's birthday ? and she had 2 of her children, a few friends and several siblings with their children plus Grandma Grandpa, so we had a large group. All of us were included and had a fantastic time! They even have Sushi!??? Try it! You will be glad you did. ? ??"

"Our first experience in Nikki was amazing! We've lived 20 minutes from this restaurant and don't know why we're never here, but believe me when I say we're new regular guests now! Everything was amazing. Food was changed life and the service was great! The wonderful soup was great, the broth was tasteful and the sommes were delicious. My wife had spring rolls and I had an egg roll that was also crispy and not broken into fat. They were perfect. The main course was what sealed the deal. We ordered Sesam Chicken and House Special Fried Rice, which was the best we ever had. The Sesame Chicken was crispy with enough sauce! It was a pleasure to see instead of the normal soggy and swim in sauce plates we land with most restaurants. The house Special Fried Rice had a good portion of meat in it and the taste was amazing. It was a very generous portion and we couldn't stop eating. The young man who worked there was an absolute hay fever! He managed to use Din in tables and how to do a professional! Refreshing to see a young man with this work ethics. Can't wait for our next visit to try their other dishes!"

"The food and the plum wine were very good. After 4 pm they start the hibachi tables-wait and enjoy the show! So many leftovers to take home-at least 1-2 more meals! Early bird for the steak and chicken with salad, and all you see less than $20. Go and have a great meal with leftovers!"

"went to a late dinner after we were turned away from an adjacent restaurant, we thought we were lucky we found our way into what looks like a hole in the wall when we entered the place, is massive multi-table with round grills in the middle a couple of Hibachi tables a full fleet bar and a very inviting sushi bar as we ponied up to the high-top in two sushi bars Only then did we think how could this experience be better? we were presented to an extremely pleasant gentleman who is probably owner/manager. he started in detail about the korean bbq menu and the care and time that goes in each article. he even showed us how the grills themselves work. at the end of his descriptions my friend and I were almost drowned. we can not wait now to go back and try everything you eat korean bbq! so happy we were turned off from the first place and stumbled over this little jewel!"

"This place can only fit under one category, Above Excellence! We had a grand time celebrating a birthday at this Hibachi Restaurant. Food was GREAT! Hostess went above and beyond to make your visit a special and enjoyable one. The cook was beyond this world he really keep you engaged through the whole dinner process with lots of laughter, et al. This place is very kids friendly as well my daughter had a grand time at the restaurant. Overall, a five star rating and I would highly recommend it for a great dining experience."

"After having two glasses, I requested my bill. She packed the wine for me, but when I received the bill, it was the full price of $35. The wine I originally ordered was unavailable, so she offered me a different kind. When I inquired about the $35 charge, she informed me that since it wasn't part of the special, I had to pay full price. I was at a loss for words. I asked why she didn't mention that when she suggested the alternative. Then she rudely claimed that taking the leftover wine was illegal, despite having already told me I could cork it to take home. Frustrated, I said either she covers the difference or I would leave without paying anything. She called the manager, who confirmed that I had to pay the full $35. I couldn't believe it—what kind of manager allows that to happen? There was one waitress who witnessed the entire exchange and eventually adjusted my bill and apologized. She was very kind and helpful, but this bartender clearly has no idea how to run a bar. When I shared this experience with a friend, she mentioned that a similar thing happened to her group. It feels like they are trying to con customers, especially those coming in from work who may not be as attentive to their bills. I can assure you, I will never return to this restaurant again."

"Tokyo Garden is one of my favorite places to dine in Tulsa. The food is always amazing and cooked to perfection. I have never been disappointed. The chefs are entertaining and talented. At our most recent visit it was very difficult to hear our chef. I'm sure it was because it was Friday night. We usually try to go late afternoon on the weekend. "I’m not one to leave reviews but…..If I could give this place 0 stars I would. Ordered for pickup: vegetable chow fun. Instead I Got a small container of steamed vegetables. Realized at home after I showered and sat down to eat. I called, they said ok “bring it back” (not sure why sorry to whoever might’ve gotten my steamed veggies in their food ‍ at least I’m vaccinated so maybe you don’t have to be so worried), I did bring it back, and then they told me to pay the difference of 3.65$. Are you kidding me, you got my order wrong, then I drove home, drove back, waited 15 minutes for them to make it (not sure why as I called in advance, twice technically on the bright side, they couldn’t spit in it since I was there), while the cashier blatantly ignored me even after calling her name 3 times and then take another 5 minutes to calculate the difference!!? I do hope the 3.65$ was worth loosing a customer. That’s not just petty it’s lacking complete common sense… it’s idiotic.Also not saying this bc this happened as I rarely order from them… the food is at best mediocre (maybe it’s the veggies"
