"Had an outstanding time this morning at As Good As It Gets Cafe in Wilmington for a New Year's Day breakfast with my mother. We arrived at 9:00 a.m., and we did beat the crowds. Lisa was our server and performed all her duties like a seasoned professional. Moreover, she was friendly and took the photographs attached to this review. In addition, the steak/crab cakes eggs benedict along with my mother meal was delicious. The place was clean and plenty of parking! We even ordered muffins after our meal. Recommend to all! Happy New Year!!!"

"Usually eat at dinner time and service, food and atmosphere are excellent! Since the closing announcement, we were only able to get lunch reservations, and that is a way different setup. We did not enjoy this lunch setup. We had to wait in a line to get served. Not the experience we were expecting. Don't recommend it. The service was bad today. Our waiter was young and must not be too experienced and we could tell by how bad he was at serving us. The busboy did better at helping us than he did. The other tables around us were served much better by a different waiter. We went to say goodbye to a wonderful place, but our last meal there was not a joyful final experience."

"We realize every place is short staffed and we extend grace for this very reason. Slow service does not always equal bad service typically during the current times we live in. However,at 1919 we got not only slow service but service without a smile, apology for the delay nor attentiveness to us. We made reservations for 2 on a Tuesday night for 7:15. We were seated immediately and waited for our server. There were three customers seated at the bar and maybe 6 tables with customers, most who appeared either finished with their meal or already had food and were eating. After 10 minutes a server came to bring the check for the table next to us and seemed surprised to see us. He finished attending to the other table and then came and took our drink order along with our food order. Our drinks arrived shortly afterwards. Our food was brought out by two other servers and was delicious. Beer cheese bisque (lukewarm but still very good), elk stroganoff and a huge cobb salad. We did not see our server again until we were finished eating. We each ordered another cocktail at that point and then waited for another 10 minutes before our drinks came. The restaurant closes at 8 and by this time it was 7:50. I feel like our server was annoyed we had ordered another cocktail. Overall the food was delicious but the service for a late Tuesday night when there was no event going on at Lambeau was awful."

"Fish fry was 3 small pieces of pretty good walleye. Wish it would have been a bit more. Kids mac n cheese was literally Kraft for $8. I don't mind having it on your kids menu, but price it appropriately. Cheese curds were good and good portion size. Burger my son and daughter had were good as well."

"My older daughter's favorite chicken strips anywhere. And now my younger daughter too! The pulled pork mac and cheese is my go to. They also have a brisket mac and cheese. Both are fantastic! The chef here does everything from scratch including the BBQ sauce (which they should bottle and sell). It's so good that my oldest, who does not like pasta of any form, is still digging in my mac and cheese. Top that with a vast selection of beer, local favorites to exotic imports. We discovered it by accident. Walking around on a very hot afternoon taking a break from comicon. Our only requirement was to eat somewhere with AC. Glad we found this place!!!"

"I am writing a negative review for this restaurant because my group never got the opportunity to dine there. I had made a reservation over a month in advance for a large party who wanted to enjoy a meal before the P!ink concert on Saturday. Unfortunately, City Smoke closed down the week of the concert and did not bother to inform anyone with reservations. Luckily, I called on the day of the reservation to confirm and discovered they were closed after finding a disconnected phone number. Thanks to this, I was able to secure a last-minute reservation at a pub (not our first choice with young girls in our group), but at least we found a place to accommodate our party. If I had not called earlier in the day, our entire group would have arrived to find the restaurant closed. This was very disappointing, City Smoke."

"Miranda and Zach are phenomenal. I have been coming here several times a week while working in the area. They are fantastic bartenders. Great personalities. Even on a slow day I stay for the conversation. They make the best old fashioned in the area (my opinion). This is the best mixed drink venue in Sumter. The food here is fantastic as well with daily changes."

So I ordered the smoked mac n cheese which was THIRTY TWO DOLLARS with the burnt ends add on for $10 more and the mac n cheese was dry garbage, high school cafeteria macaroni with no cheese sauce of any kind, just baked with a little cheese sprinkled on top. For that plus two appetizers, I paid NINETY DOLLARS. Just garbage across the board. If I could give zero stars, I would."
