"the only thing that quickly came to the table was the check. the waiter was good, he was super busy, but he did the best he could. our eating came out at different times, so we were not able to eat our meal together. we sat on a table and at the end of dinner there was a service fee on each of our bills. come to find out the service fee is not the waiter tipp it is an additional fee the restaurant added. when we were asked about the service fee, we were told that there was a fee the restaurant added to pay the people in the return. that means that they have charged each one of us to cook our food or just come to the restaurant) so we had from a party of 6 all a service fee of 5,50 or more depending on how much they were, plus we had to type the waiter. on the way out, I did not see 1 sign that there is a service fee to be added to my bill. I will never go back to this restaurant as long as they have a service fee. the price for food plus service fee plus tipp is the hokkaido experience!"

"the food is delicious! full of flavor! I appreciate the modern service and the setting of the restaurant. Today my first time was here and we had a family brunch of 4 to 1 o'clock. the restaurant was not full and everything was perfect. large part is when they are looking for dessert after moxy’s frozen yogurt is just around the corner. this location has a large number of parking spaces and wheelchair accessible areas."

"This is a fantastic spot for a small group outing. I've visited with some of my colleagues and truly enjoy the atmosphere. The hibachi chef is always entertaining and friendly. The rest of the staff is courteous, respectful, and efficient in their roles—never rude, just calm. I often forget to take photos of the hibachi dishes because they are so delicious that they disappear before I even think to snap a picture. The sushi here is among the best I've had anywhere. I managed to take a few pictures today before it was all gone. Currently, all the staff are wearing both masks and face shields for safety. This is definitely one of my favorite hibachi and sushi places in the area."

"Watch your ticket when eating here in large groups. This place charges whatever it wants according to the amount of people in the group. I've eaten at higher end restaurants and did not have an issue. This is a PSA. When I asked about charge, I was given a series of explanations that didn't add up to that was set on my plate. I paid, I left, never to return."

"Noodles on the Boat for $12 was served, literally, in a little boat. The fresh cucumber, carrots, and noodles were crisp, crunchy and wonderful. The chicken was cooked to perfection with just a hint of spiciness. Great value, tasteful decor, good service and reasonable prices. This is definitely on the list to come back to!"

"I completely disagree with the comment below when we visited hokkaido it was great and you get so much food for a very cheap price as a college student. My boyfriend ordered the chicken and shrimp combination this could feed two people and I got hibachi chicken! Delish I would say this is the best Japanese food place in Boone you get your moneys worth!!"

"very excited to find that there were some special roles at otoko sushi. most Japanese restaurants can get them clear avocado rolls, but here they also have a veggie dragon roll (tempura, economical, avocado, covered with auberginense) as well as pink lady roll (sorted vegetables, tempura packed with soy paper.) they have a veggie bento kombi box with many options that I like to try. besides gegieyoza, various plant tempuras (eggplant, mixed mushroom, asparagus) and seatangsalat. everything was delicious! "My sister n love stopped in. My 1st time and was very excited to try. Had seen another person posting their meals. It always looked really good.Atmosphere is very nice.
