"I had the Po' Boy Sandwich while my friend ordered the pistachio salad. Both dishes were fresh and could be frozen for later, but that felt like a missed opportunity. We also enjoyed the mango salsa as we waited. However, when the meals arrived, we noticed there was no ventilation, and the smell of oil became quite strong. With just a good kitchen fan, this charming spot could easily become a five-star hidden gem."

"I have had many a memorable meal here, so when friends were coming into town and staying near, I thought that this would be a great place. I had not been to Pound Pence in a number of years. While the ambiance was nice enough (although the music was a little loud when we first arrived , the food wasn't spectacular. The the tuna nicoise that I had was overcooked (not my requested medium rare, but, rather, medium and a little tough and overdressed. (Note to self: Ask for the dressing to be on the side. I did not ask about my friends' meals, although they didn't say anything about it either way."

"It's a nice local pub with good food, pleasant staff, good selection of beers and live music throughout each week. Food: raw oysters are good and cleaned before serving so you don't have issue with grit. The grilled oysters are excellent and go well with a chardonnay or white wine of choice. The sportsman platter is advertised as enough for two, but it's better to be shared by several people or as a small family meal. There is so much food that most of it was cold by the time my wife and I got to the middle. The steamed shrimp were HUGE! They were served cold, over cooked, tough and they were miserable to peel. Drink: plenty of beers to choose from and Tuesday is half price craft beers. Bathrooms are clean. Parking is generous, but the rear portion is dirt with some pot holes that really rocked us when we went through. Overall, good place to try out and hang with some friends too listen to some live music and drink some beers. Not really a place I'd go back to just for the food."

"Update: Recent takeout order was delicious and Ray provided exceptional customer service. New photos added here. The Persian food at Jino's Pars is delicious! I tried the Beef Soltani Kabob, a combination of a skewer of barg kabob and a skewer of koobideh kabob, both well done. The meat was perfectly well done and still juicy as you can see in the picture attached to this review. The rice was fluffy and surprisingly low salt/low butter. Of course, if you love butter like I do, you can always fold some butter into your rice. This dish comes with a choice of shirazi salad or lentil soup. I chose the shirazi salad it was packed with flavor and herbs. I also ordered the maust o moosir, Greek yogurt and elephant garlic, and it was the best maust o moosir I have had in a long time (other than my mom's because my mom makes the best Persian cuisine in the world)! The meal is served with complimentary hot pita bread and butter. Portions are excellent and easily shareable. Service was amazing. Mohsen was the best host and Antonio ensured that every request was addressed. Thank you, Mohsen and Antonio! Ambiance was great, open floor plan, easy to walk around, classical music playing in the background. This is a great place to come solo, as a couple, or with family or friends. I highly recommend Jino's Pars for excellent Persian food and customer service!"

"Jonathan was our waiter, he was very friendly, attentive and helpful. The food was great! I had the combo bbq (pork chicken) very good. My hubby had the ribs, excellent! We had the fried pimples that were good. The only thing we had problems with was the bbq baked beans that tasted more like pork and beans (they were ok, but not what we expected for bbq baked beans). The chocolate lava cake was also very good and excellent drinks!"

"I used to come here a lot when I lived in area and was looking forward to dinner there. I can honestly say I will never be back. It is definitely under new management. They were only 25% full and waiter did not come to table for 20 minutes and when he took our order he didn’t write anything down and got so many things wrong. After such a long wait and we just accepted whatever food the waiter ordered from the voices in his head. The food that we were served was sub par and way below average. Truly a shame this use to be a great place"

"since pre-prepared since we are. I've been coming since I was a child myself. Columbia location is not half as good as the original. We have there 1 min after the opening on Saturday. We were the 2nd people in, I was happy to see what looked like a decent crew, did not see that 1 person tried to do everything. The service as always was amazing. Margaritas always smooth here, $5 for a drink is stupid cheap from anyone's standards everywhere. Crab cakes still good as ever. The kids got burgers and they looked fantastic. Stable onion for an app was good. It's all good to go like before. Post Covid food out was sad, many places have done in cleanliness, service and quality of food, and I am glad that Corner Stable has not. Great crew, they were all very nice to my family. Can't wait to come back soon."

"I brought my wife to Stevens Steak Seafood to celebrate our 20th anniversary. We have plenty of time there in Stevens Steakhouse for events, weddings and other occasions, the Steakhouse is very beautiful and could also great events there. We have made reservations that we know it is very busy every day of the weekend especially Friday and Saturday. We come to Steakhouse and host and host welcome us, we say we have reservation that they escort us to our reserve table it was very nice. We sat downstairs and the waiter came to the menu, then we look at the menu. We look at the menu what we first order our drinks that I order the Cuban Mojito and my wife order the Mascato. My wife ordered the 10oz prime cut know how the lady cut then I decided the 32oz 28 dry age Porterhouse Steak. It comes with soup or salad my wife got the salad and I got French onion soup. The waiter brought spaghetti sample, it was really good. Then our waiter brought our meal my wife Prime Rib looks so good and Porterhouse Steak was big and looks delicious. I cut a piece it was mouth water delicious the steak was age good the flavors come out. It also comes two side I chose the season vegetables and rice pilaf them so well. My wife enjoys her main nativity. For dessert we order the bread pudding it was pretty good. My wife and I have to come back."

"Well, I cannot attest to the pizza. I ordered the gyro luch plate. The pita was crunchy onnl the out side and dry, the gyro meat was dry and over cooked with burnt crispy parts. If you order this ask for extra onions and tomatos. When made correctly im sure this is fantastic. Just not today...."
