"AWFUL experience! My wife and I hired Mike and Paese Mio to cater our wedding on October 26 and we were extremely disappointed. We were treated with utter disrespect, especially considering the was a large catering order, several hundred dollars, paid in advance. They were happy to take our money but were unprofessional, dishonest, disrespectful and nasty. When the food was delivered my wife and I didn’t realize that the $95 antipasto tray we ordered was missing. We were busy getting married so we didn’t notice the missing tray until later in the night. The serving spoons which were supposed to be included were also not delivered. I understand that mistakes happen and it honestly would not have been that big of a deal if Paese Mio had handled it professionally but unfortunately as soon as we brought it to their attention they became extremely rude and uncooperative, refusing to offer a refund or even an apology. They went so far as to accuse me of stealing from them for seeking a refund for the missing food. These people are seriously whacked and the way they handled the situation was completely unacceptable. When the woman I spoke to on the phone suggested that I come in if I wanted to talk to Mike and I explained that that wasn’t possible because we are from out of town (our wedding which we had hired them to cater was near the restaurant), she suggested that we shouldn’t have ordered from them. Well I can guarantee that neither I nor any of my family will ever order from Paese Mio again."

"I'm not usually one to go as far to even write a review for a place but after countless times of letting slip ups go ive reached my limit. South shore Giovannis is extremely convenient for me to order being virtually next door to me so I have given them multiple opportunities to prove me wrong, thinking to myself oh it should be okay this time right? Wrong. When I say every single time something from my order has been either completely wrong, burnt or cold I'm not exaggerating. I've probably ate here about a total of 10 times in a two year span and each time it's been screwed up. Usually I just roll my eyes and deal with it because its not even worth the hassle but today I wanted to get the family some food and surprise surprise something is wrong. My wife said her sandwich didn't taste right and they forgot my sauces for my strips and ranch for my fries now usually this is one of those chalk it up to another gios in south shore experience and move on but like I said after 9 other times of screwups it just set me off I called and let them know they have done something wrong with my food multiple times and I've let it slide today I got home and I was upset I had no sauce they offered to give me my sauces but what's the point when you're already home ready to eat? I wasn't expecting free food but they just made me feel dumb for calling in about it so I'm not sure what I was expecting I just know I've had enough of the screwups and this was the best recourse i can think of. If some poor soul comes up on this and takes time to read my novel here at least I can either set them up for disappointment for when they order or help them avoid the frustration of spending 25-50 and having their food experience ruined."
