"I have been here two times for lunch. A good variety of food. The Ono was very fresh and well-prepared. Beer and wine also available. The food is tasty and it comes out fast. But it's people that make this place. Family-owned and very friendly and responsive. We wanted to take home some leftover salad but we were staying in Kailua-Kona and it was a very hot day. So when we were ready to leave she brought out a box and there was a baggie of ice at the bottom. A smaller bag that contained our salad sat on top of the ice. We were able to enjoy the leftover salad later with our dinner."

"Amazing.it is now my favorite restaurant in DC. Everything was delicious and portions were generous. The sea bass was an incredible blend of favors and textures. The carrots were tender and delicious and the chocolate/rhubarb dessert was out of this world. Just like with the sea bass the combo of favors and textures was wonderful. The two of us shared it with two scoops of vanilla ice cream which seemed to complement it."

"The staff was very accommodating. Our group thought the closing time was later than it actually was. We stayed past closing enjoying our desserts and conversation without realizing that the place had closed. Staff showed kindness and patience. They did not tell us they were closed and did not rush us. Had we known the place was closed, we would have left much earlier. We’ll be back to enjoy the great food and service.
