"I visited Filomena Lakeview Inn at around 4:30 on Monday, Feb. 27th. The waiter initially brought two menus and a lunch special menu. I requested another lunch special menu as I was meeting a friend, but he informed me they only had 10 per section. Despite the restaurant not being busy, he eventually agreed to bring one. In the end, we decided to order from the main menu. I opted for the mustard seed crusted salmon priced at $29. I had considered the crab cakes, which I believe were $39, but the waiter mentioned that they came with mashed potatoes and mixed veggies. When I asked if I could substitute the mixed veggies for mashed potatoes and spinach, he stated that there would be an additional $5 charge for the spinach. I was taken aback by this and ultimately chose the salmon. The snarky attitude of the waiter and the $5 upcharge for spinach left a sour taste in my mouth. Despite having recommended Filomena Lakeview Inn in the past, my experience today has left me disappointed."

"First time here! Absolutely amazing meal. We ordered the price fix meals and the portions were perfect! The variety of flavors were incredible. The Brussels sprouts were cooked to perfection and exploding with favor. The Espresso Martini had a hint of different flavors that made it delicious! The duck and sweet potatoes were beyond tasty! The staff was friendly and helpful. Highly recommend checking it out! Can’t wait to go back"

"My husband and I visited this restaurant for a special occasion and opted to sit in the outdoor area at the back. We went on a weekday and at 7pm it was quiet, with just us and two other couples. The front of the restaurant is very attractive and the outdoor space was beautifully decorated with plenty of plants, creating a romantic ambiance. Sitting there made us feel like we were on vacation, and we were pleasantly surprised. We are sure that the outdoor space looks even better at night. The service was excellent – attentive, friendly, and with a smile. The presentation of the food was also impressive. The food itself was not as outstanding as the decor and service, but it didn't really matter because everything else made up for it. We enjoyed our time there due to the decor, atmosphere, and service, and highly recommend this hidden gem that is modest yet charming. It felt like being in Italy."

"The place serves wonderful Italian cuisine. It is a unique place to visit. I liked the idea of collecting the pictures of every grandmother of the staff and showing them in the restaurant. The atmosphere is amazing vintage. I definitely come back and recommend the other place in Atlanta. Parking is also available."

"I made a reservation on Open Table for 11:30 am than arrived and was told the chef was running late. That's fine. Twenty minutes later we find out the chef is still not there and it's already 12:15! 45 minutes have passed and all we have had is one drink which we were charged for which is bad form. The bartender was very apologetic. but there is zero excuse for this! Don't allow reservations on Open Table if the chef can't be there on time! I had to cancel work meetings because I had to stay there later. We finally got the food and everyone at the table was underwhelmed by the quality. The oysters and calamari were good but the lobster rolls had way more bread than lobster so the taste was lost. The fries were nice and crisp, but the side dish shouldn't override the main course."
