"Cool, outdoor buffet next to the pool at the Sheraton Princess Kaiulani. Yes, very touristy. Nice thing is, they have live music but the food...meh. They had the standard buffet items like prime rib and crab legs. Both were awesome but the rest of the food (some type of baked chicken, roasted potatoes, steamed fish, salad bar, cookies, panna cotta, etc. was A-OK. It was Italian night the night we went there. They had some pasta, risotto, meat (salami, prosciutto, etc. , cheese, artichokes, and olives for a charcuterie board. The pasta was a little bland, so was the mushroom risotto. The charcuterie board wasn't bad though. Can't really mess up meat, cheese and crackers. Best thing they served on Italian night, in my opinion, was the focaccia bread. It was perfectly seasoned with herbs and the outside was a bit crispy, but the inside was light and fluffy. The customer service was pretty good. They were attentive, and drinks were refilled frequently although we had a party of over 20. The live music and overall atmosphere was great but food-wise, Pikake Terrace isn't at the top of my lists for buffets."
