"Walked in around 10:30 am in a typical Wednesday morning and were politely asked to wait a moment while they cleaned a table for our family. They promptly cleaned a booth and we were seated immediately. They gave us a menu and crayons with an adorable bluebird picture and fact sheet for our daughter to color. The restaurant was bustling and you could tell they had been slammed earlier in the morning. Our waitress was pleasant and friendly. Our meals did not take long to arrive, just long enough for us all to receive one refill on our drinks. My daughter and I had pancakes. Oddly enough Our daughter preferred my gluten-free ones. Well I didn’t try hers, they sure did look good, mine were perfect combination of being fluffy yet not airy. My husband had chicken fried steak and eggs which he said were delicious. I had commented that my ice tea was very good and I liked that I had a different flavor the waitress offered to give me a glass to go which I thought was going over and above on customer service. Waitress also took the time to thank us for being so kind today and it really took me back, because I didn’t think that we were being extra kind. It really made me think of how awful so many people must treat waitresses on a daily basis. Be kind to the staff."
