"Vento rates as one of my top 5 worst restaurant experiences of all time. I don’t see a happy ending for business venture owner’s Keram and Mehdi Dris. Poor front service marred our New Year’s Eve experience and revealed an unpolished, unprofessional and unfriendly environment that should put off any future guest. Having said that the actual food was of note. But the stomach churning staff, will not give you much opportunity to enjoy. In nearly 25 years of worldwide travel and restaurant, I have never seen such an unprofessional wait staff. A previously agreed special request was not to be honored. A request to speak with the manager/owner was also not honored. Only as our group prepare to leave did the restaurant agree to the special vegetarian needs of a single guest in our party. As it was now 10.30 p.m. and facing little other choice, we endured, however, the entire evening was marred by an issue that would be otherwise deftly handled by a more professionally run establishment. This is clearly not going to be a return visit."
