"Absolutely loved the food! Went with my husband to celebrate our anniversary and was not disappointed. The staff congratulated us when seated as well as when waiting on us! The gazpacho was unique and loved the flavor! The boulabasse was a large portion with a fantastic taste. The creme brûlée was very flavorful and I have tried many in past. Great unique cocktails and lots of whine to chose from. I would highly recommend dining at Watermark!!!! We actually were there the last evening open at that location. Appears they are telocating to the new Bridgestone building in December. I know if I am visiting Nashville , I will definitely go to the new location. It was a wonderful experience!!! Thanks for helping us celebrate out 21st!!!!"

"One very important feature of a great restaurant is consistency and Pot Liquor has mastered smoking for every meal. We started with the Burnt End appetizer that is made from Brisket cuts with a maple infused BBQ sauce. It comes served over toast. Next went to Spare me Baby half spare ribs and half baby back ribs. The spare ribs are dry rubbed and amazing. Very meaty and juicy. Baby backs are wet rubbed and also very moist. Finished dinner with Key Lime in a Mason Jar. This is a decomposed Key Lime pie that is wonderful. just writing this makes me want to go back. We love this restaurant!"

"We were there on a Wednesday at 5:00,so we were seated immediately. It was our first visit so we were served pot licker. It was the best part of the meal. My husband and I ordered the “famous” fried chicken. It would seem that our chicken was fried and then kept warm in the oven. The dark meat was good, but the white meat was truly awful. It was so dry that I drank tea as I chewed, otherwise I wouldn’t be able to swallow. Our daughter had the shrimp and grits. The grits were ok, but the shrimp was overcooked and rubbery. The wait staff stopped by our table often; but when she asked how we were doing, I told her and showed her that the chicken was very dry. Her words were “Ok. Sorry about that”. She then walked away. She walked past us at least 4 times; but we had to ask for our check. The collards were very good, the mac and cheese, broccoli mix (frozen-not fresh) and baked goods were sub-standard. The rolls were also really dry. We were given one small half pat of butter on our plate. The peach cobbler was ok, but it was made from canned peaches. Why wouldn’t you use fresh peaches in July; we are the peach state!"

"So happy I chose Virgil's-West Midtown for my bachelorette brunch! My bridesmaids and I were very satisfied and full with the great service and great food! The drinks were also amazing! I would consider this of our culinary gems and boujie souls eating. we had eggs and chicken bite for starters drunk. both inventive and well received. chicken whistle really made out of the slider on a shortened cookie like oma. I had short-sleeved meatloaf. which is covered with puppet tomato puree. the meat is pressed into a place and seasoned well. it unique texture of dry, but delicate and quite delicious. I can't really compare with something else. friend had braided pork ribs that remind me a bit of pchang spicy bbq served on the bone with red chili peppers in a chic. they were braided and crisp juicy bitten by the bone. highly recommended."

"My party of 4 had a reservation at Brunch. Two of us ordered the Chicken and Waffles with a side of gravy. The boneless chicken was perfectly baked and not overcooked. However, the waffles were cold and hard, likely made hours before the rush. The club sandwich was incredibly fresh and generously stacked. The fried potatoes served with the eggs were unique, resembling a bunch of potatoes and piles of domestic pommes rolled into a log and crispy on all sides. It was an unusual sight but delicious. The service was excellent from the moment we arrived to when we were seated. The staff made sure we had everything we needed, including Mimosa and Hibiscus drinks for the adults."

"There were 3 of us. We started by sharing a beer salad, calamari and corneal dusted oysters. Delicious!!! I was content with that and so the other two people decided to have the catch of the day but asked to change what it was served with. No problem. Split the plate, no problem. Had the chocolate coconut pie for dessert-YUM!!! A great meal and great service."

"We went to the restaurant for Sunday brunch with a party of 2 and found it to be clean and spacious. The hostess and servers were friendly, with Colin providing great service. He was attentive, made good menu recommendations, and had a friendly and energetic demeanor. The food and drinks were served promptly and at the right temperatures. "that's my first time to go to the restaurant and I have to say that I'm so happy that it was all they talked about, I loved! tiffany, as long as I remember, was asinine to see she's a chef in the kitchen, especially when she was on the food network. I'm so proud of her and happy for her. eating is delicious, it is well presented and it tastes great. it is well seasoned and there is something for everyone on the menu. our dinner was perfect, and if they weren't, they have to try. make sure they call before the time because they probably need to get a reservation. our waitress was absolutely phenomenal. great personality, starting and knowledgeable. she was always ready to help with a question or be there when we needed something. it is a great, intimate place."
