"Went into Little Owl Cafe for Christmas bakery. It’s awesome they carry vegan bakery options. They were pretty busy so I was in and out quickly. The atmosphere is comfortable, nice place to sit and have one of their coffees or teas. Clean little cafe, quiet place to read or enjoy company with a loved one. Many desert options to choose from, all homemade. I like that they carry their logo hoodies and goose neck tea pots, very hard to find in Fairbanks."

"We chose Little Owl Cafe because it served breakfast all day. It’s a cute shop with inside and outside dining. The bakery goods and lunch items looked good. Their Belgian waffle is delicious and nutritious. We ordered ours with berries and whipped cream which is extra. We ordered brewed coffee extra hot but it was lukewarm when it arrived. Unusual that a “coffee shop“ screwed up hot coffee. It took a while for them to microwave it. ???? I don’t know why they just didn’t pour another cup. The menu has a lot of options for vegan, non soy, extra gluten or vice versa, etc. Ugh! Did I mention the waffles were good? Oh, you can order them with or without eggs and milk and whatever else you can’t tolerate. Apparently you can order with an app and they bring your order right to the table. I couldn’t get past the payment screen before it restarted the order process so we had to get back in line. The staff were friendly and fast except for reheating the coffee."

"A great place for a quick sweet treat and fresh cup of coffee! They've got a large selection of both classic and specialty cakes. My husband and I grabbed four — the Peanut Butter Pocket, Blueberry Cream Cheese Pocket, Buttercream Bismark and Birthday Cake Donut. The “pockets” are basically filled donuts. I didn't think my Blueberry Cream Cheese Pocket was all to great. "I heard great things about their chai tea, and I must say it was very good. It tasted house brewed and wasn’t overly sweet as some I’ve tasted. I discovered this on a walk during lunch one day and decided to stop in. This is a greater corner coffee shop. The staff were friendly. I plan to return and try more of their products."

"Hot chocolate was so good!! Glazed donut was ok but the tiny cake donuts were really good! We tried the pistacho, sprinkles and chocolate, all were delicious! Service, first time was meh, it was our first time there and didn’t feel comfortable asking questions based on the cashier’s unwelcoming face. Second time service was a lot better, the cashier was very friendly."

"I ordered a cake via phone communication because I would be flying into town from Las Vegas the following week. The 3 layer cake was ordered for my mothers 91st birthday.I ordered a red velvet cake with fresh strawberries cream cheese whip between the layers.I stayed in communication with Renee owner) through text and phone call.I requested a plain vintage cake without their fake flowers as I was purchasing fresh flowers for the decor.When I arrived in Marion on Tuesday , I went into the shop to communicate to Renee how I wanted the lettering positioned on the cake because I was placing the fresh flowers on them on Thursday when I would be picking up the cake.On Thursday when I picked up the cake, I was happy with the presentation of the cake but surprised that the writing was in black. I should have communicated the color of the lettering I wanted but never thought BLACK would be her choice for a woman’s cake. I made the best of it and placed my fresh flowers on the cake.Review on the cake ….. it was extremely dry. Not moist at all. And there was hardly any strawberries or frosting between the layers so when you sliced the cake, the layers separated. My mother said she didn’t even see any strawberries.I seen them but very little were distributed throughout each layer.I texted Renee the following day and shared my thoughts. I gave her my constructive review on the quality of the cake and hoped she would not take it as an insult to her bakers but use it for improvement in the future.Not a word have I heard back from the owner.I was in Black mountain yesterday at the Dripolator coffee shop and one of the baristas preparing my latte shared with me after I shared with her my trip to Marion for my moms birthday and where I ordered her cake from, that she didn’t care for Chance of Sprinkles because her cake she ordered was extremely dry.I hope the owner will take this review as constructive advice and possibly change the recipe on her cakes. Always communicate back to the customer regardless of the review. Take this as Growth in her business."

"I came in here this morning to get my daughter some donuts and I’m standing there ready to order there was two workers there in front one with black hair and another girl. they just having a conversation and ignoring me I stood there for 10 minutes and it’s sad I felt like the were being racist or something and I had to be at work soon. Never again will I come here my first and last time"

"Great little Cafe. Excellent food and service. I had 1/2 walnut and cranberry salad, 1/2 Italian sandwich, a huge brownie, and iced tea. Everything was amazing. I wish I had taken pictures, it all tasted as good as it looked. My only complaint was a large tea was only a 20 oz."
