"I reached out to Nelson's Cheese Deli in St. Paul for catering information while exploring caterers. Wayne was the only person I communicated with, and after my initial email, I did not send any further messages. Two days later, Wayne (an employee) arrived with an order I had not placed. I was shocked that he had placed an order without my consent and showed up at the address in my email signature. When I informed him that I would not be accepting the order, he was very disrespectful. I have never encountered a restaurant conducting business in this manner. Inquiring about catering services is not the same as placing an order, and showing up unannounced at someone's workplace is unsettling and inappropriate. This experience was so bizarre and uncomfortable that I have decided not to do business with Nelson's Cheese Deli. The odd behavior of Wayne and the lack of professionalism have completely put me off from ever considering them for catering services."
