"We had a really good time here but I don’t think the food is anything memorable. It’s good, but not fantastic. We were three people and ordered the menu for 2 that comes with ribs, chicken, brisket and pork. It’s a huge portion and even though we were three we were not able to finish it. They also let you customize it to your taste if there are any sides or meats that you would not like. The value is fantastic and our server was terrific! No complains, but I have had better bbq in other places."

"the personal here was amazing and she clearly had a tonne love and thought in her vegan menu that had as many possibilities as the non-vegan menu. we ordered the vegan triathlon and beignets for 3 people, and it was a good amount of food. the pizza was ok, a little too much cheese and less tasteful than I want, but the garlic knots were great and the beignets were amazing. if I would go back, I would probably try a non-pizza option or something with a little more structural integrity, so I could eat it without knives and forks the personal and the atmosphere of the place made this place really amazing, though, in any case they give it a try especially in the nights they show basketball games!"

"This is one of our favorite restaurants to go to here in South Sacramento. It's a classic Mom and Pop place with old time atmosphere. You see A LOT of regulars there. The food and service are outstanding!!! Go on an empty stomach because the portions are HUGE! My favorite breakfast is the Eggs Benedict which never disappoints. Every time we go on my birthday, I get a discount and free dessert. This is the type of restaurant we love to support, because it's local and has been there forever. I forgot to mention that it's clean and cozy. If you're looking for somewhere to eat that had great old fashioned atmosphere, the Mr. Perry's is the place!!!"

"We love this place! It's a comfy, down home place with delicious food and incredible staff. We've gone several times and have never been disappointed. My favorite is The Slop, a huge plate of potatoes, breakfast meat, eggs and veggies, all covered with gravy. My girls love the large cinnamon rolls, served warm and smothered in frosting. The best thing about this place though is the staff. They are friendly, easy to talk to, and work hard to make sure you're happy."

"The BEST BBQ place I've been to in town. Beef ribs and crispy brussel sprouts are to die for. Fast, friendly and decently priced, especially cobsidering portion sizes. BBQ sauce is delicious. Love the crispy onions they sometimes throw on top as well. Yum Yum Yum! The only downfall is I've been trying to order these things for a week and every time I call they're either sold out or don't have them in. I finally got my hot little hands on some today and my goodness...worth the wait. I could only eat 1 rib because they are that meaty."

"love that sincean sandwich! they have no vegan cheese (they wear vegan mayo,) but the sandwich was so good that it didn't even need cheese! this was also the perfect portable meal for my long flight back to chicago. the hired were nice enough to pack my sandwich so it wouldn't get out and it's fresh. in retrospect, I would have bought two sandwiches before I left because that sandwich was so good. the taste of the since then was great and as it was cooked and cut, contributed a lot to the size of the sandwich. I'm sure if they vegan cheese added to sandwich it would be from this world. I'm back at my next visit!"

"I wish I had pics...look, driving up it don't look like much...it looks plane Jane but....once in, staff was all over it! Reminds of a Waffle House a lot! I had breakfast! "Quality fried food joint that is local to its core. Things are cooked fresh so could take 15 minutes for your order. Has definite charm I can respect being new to the area in a rapidly gentrifying Oakland. Definitely a go to spot for a Fried food fix."
