"So...... Needed a place to eat and my lovely girlfriend suggested this place. Well obviously she has good taste ? dating me) and we went to New Britain Diner, well fantastic! Friendly waitresses and very efficient kitchen, so the food was really fantastic. Homemade soup, potato pancakes and Mac and Cheese was awesome !!!!!"

"Great little place for breakfast and lunch. I eat here usually once or twice a week when I stay in the area. My favorite is the BLT with extra bacon and mayo and fries. The bacon is always cooked perfectly and fries are perfect. The omelets are always a good choice too. The staff is always very friendly and extremely good about making sure my drink is fresh. It's not expensive either."

"I had the Jerk Chicken Panini and it was delicious and reasonable! You also get a small Fruit cup and salad with our panini!! I wanted to Pina Colada Smoothie but I decided to try the Peanut Butter Banana and it was sooo good!! This area needed healthy options and I'm glad Twisted Rootz gave it to us!!!"

"Met my buddy Charlie at Elsie’s for a Sunday morning breakfast. Wow! We both had the prime rib (medium rare) with eggs (easy over) and hash browns (nice and crispy). Coffee was good but I would like a darker roast. Super staff did a nice job on service. Side note. My dad bowled a 300 at Elsie’s."

"Great smoothies and bowls, but terrible customer service! I was on a no Carb week and did not want bananas in my smoothie, so instead I asked for vegan chocolate protein and some peanut butter. They put clearly 3 or more tablespoons of peanut butter when I asked it to be restored, they said that what I requested. May I? ve had the same combination in Guaarapo, Smoothie Spot and Smoothie King and it didn't taste like I was drinking peanut butter. It was so much I could see that lumps of peanut butter came out of the straw. They refused to fix it. The next time my sister asked a cafe of life not to realize that it was a juice instead of a smoothie. When I go to pick up our order and ask if she can cancel the juice she said?t and I had to take it or cancel my entire order. I hadn't even picked up the juice from the refrigerator or even touched it. It was?t until I asked to talk to the manager, they decided to allow me to pay the $2 difference to order a smoothie. Bad customer service ever!"

"Pricey for quality and quantity of food. Each bowl is about $13 before tip or anything and isn't very big. Mine was not very flavorful and my friend's had a bunch of unblended chunks of frozen fruit. Service was also a little weird. We were the only people in there but it still took several minutes for us to be helped. It's nice to have a healthy option in a convenient location, but I would save my money and keep looking next time."

"Straight-up old school, no frills diner. Food and service are about what you expect: nothing to cheer about but also not much to complain about. You can always get a decent meal here. I wish I could give it four stars… but I can't. It doesn't excel at anything specific and your experience definitely depends on what time you get there to eat and who is serving you.
