"Called to place an order for delivery at 5:07 pm and the order never arrived until 6:43 pm! After calling twice to see where the driver was, they said they didn’t know.. when the food finally arrived the delivery driver drove away and was sight seeing!!! The food was good, not the best. The staff was irresponsible by not even calling us to let us know they were lost which we would have been more than happy to help assist with directions. Not a great first ever experience with Johnny Jr’s Pizzeria!"

"Food was not made as specified on their website. When i called to have the issue rectified they refused stating that it wasnt listed on their website. I double checked to be sure and they lied, their website lists sandwiches with ingredients on them that they claim doesnt actually come on the sandwiches. Their website needs to be fixed to reflect the ACTUAL ingredients of their sandwiches instead of lying to people. The one sandwich they did make right was gross. The meat was rubbery, hard and dry and flavorless. I will not be ordering from here again and i do not recommend them at all."

"From the city for a nice date weekend/wedding was looking for a nearby restaurant, the menu looked good, service was good! The food is not so much. We ordered the Calamari Appetizer that I don't know if it's because we are from Jersey and used to get a little fresher stuff, but it was super rubbery. My husband ordered the 27 dollar hockey puck/tuna steak, who looked like canned tuna shaped into a steak and was done so well that he couldn't finish it, I got the salmon, seasonaling was good as for the salmon super dry also cooked over. Plates came with a strength side without veg. $107 on a dinner, that was much less than average. 0/10 don't recommend"

"Well, I finally visited Singas Famous Pizza on Grand Street because my son kept asking me to try their pizza. My son used to work in the neighborhood and this is one of his favorite places to grab lunch. Decor is simple and the restaurant is clean.Singas has been in business for 56 years which is a plus. It is obvious that they must be doing something right. They have locations throughout NY and NJ. My son ordered the shrimp pizza and I ordered the plain pizza.At Singas, everything is made to order fresh for their customers. The wait time for our order was about ten minutes. I enjoyed my personal pizza at Singas, it was absolutely delicious. I love everything about pizza and this pizza did not disappoint me at all.An added bonus for us was that we were fortunate to meet one of the owners. He was thankful that we stopped in to patronize his business. He was friendly and so encouraging. He is an awesome individual. He shook my hand and gave my son a fist bump. He was extremely happy to see my son and I hanging out together. Additionally, he gave my son some wonderful advice. We had a wonderful conversation and enjoyed our time at Singas Famous Pizza.One thing that always resonates with me when I’m out and about is customer service. It is extremely important to me. Your food can taste great but your attitude can be horrible, I won’t support a business like that. However, thankfully that is not the case at Singas Famous Pizza. Keep up the great work and serving delicious food.I will definitely be back soon to try the other options on the menu."

"Noticed that this place had finally reopened under new management. Ordered a large pepperoni pizza and some garlic bread. New owner (Thai) has 5 years restaurant experience. Cheese changed from provolone and mozzarella. A new dough recipe was implemented. Some minor tweaks to the menu have been made and the addition of some Vietnamese Dishes has the place feeling totally updated to a modern feel . Even though I ordered pepperoni, I saw that he is hand chopping the vegetables for another pie. Can 't beat fresh vegetables. On to the lowdown, the pizza is a flat crust, that carried the sauce, it is a non-sweet sauce. The mozzarella cheese was melted perfectly and was super tasty. The pepperoni is the star of the show which was a little spicy which gave it the right amount of zip combined with some added spices. It was a nice cup and char pepperoni. The garlic bread was a nice tasting butter and garlic mixture on the 'King ' of sub buns from Auddino 's. The bigger thing is that they have kept the prices the same. I can 't see anything but success for the new owners. The inside has a nice new feel with it. The new floor and paint job is totally off the chart."

"Honestly I have no idea what happened to this place it use to be so delicious one of the best pizza in town . I don’t know if it’s under new management or something but the quality of the pizza was so terrible I even drove 40 mins from where I live cause I’ve been coming here for years even as a kid . But haven’t been there within a few months. The staff looked new not the original people who use to work there . Very disappointed and we bought over 10 pizzas none was good tasted old barely any cheese"
