"I want to love this place, but I'm struggling to do so. The location is great and there are lots of tables and chairs, and I also like that it has regular food (sandwiches and salads), not just pastries. But I hate that I had to order off a tablet because I couldn't ask questions about the menu or modify my veggie salad. There are no prices posted, so I didn't know the salad was $13 until I ordered it. And the coffee was very disappointing. I tried the light and medium roasts, and both had very little flavor; they were a step above gas station coffee. If you are a coffee connoisseur and you enjoy flavorful roasting companies like Jack Mormon, Publik, Ibis Salt Lake Roasting Co., you will be very disappointed in the coffee served at Cafe on 1st."
