"We went to the Clam Shack last night for the first time Saturday night around 6:30 pm). Orders were being taken and orders were being filled for take-out or to dine at the two shaded areas adjacent to the building. The lady at the counter was very organized, efficient and friendly. She made sure that everyone was told it would take at least 20 minutes for orders to be ready as everything is cooked to order. The menu is pretty extensive with fish and also some non-seafood options.We chose fried clams and the fish sandwich. The clam strips a generous amount) were tender, tasty and not overly oily. The fries were delicious. The fish sandwich cod) was a thick fillet that was enormous, flakey, tasty, and battered to perfection. It could have easily been divided and put onto two buns.We look forward to returning and trying other items on the menu."
