"I made my first visit tonight, in the strip along Bellaire Blvd at S Rice, which belongs to Aunt Pasta. Definitely one step from the previous occupants, and the host/manager is active and involved... A little too much for my comfort as he stands a few feet away and watches like we eat. But the concern melts with the service and food quality that both are excellent, and as snake bit like the location, it will take an active hand to guide this restaurant at the opening to ensure that every impression is given a good enough to earn a return trip. Could we finally have a holder? A correction of the categorization of someone as a French restaurant: it is definitely not as it is Spanish with some French influence. Meals are not spicy, so experiment of paella to duck to seafood. Full bar, many wines, Spanish. Reservations are advisable and you want to dress over jeans and polos."
