"Was pretty upset about the fact that the food was not as good as I had heard from the reviews. Me and my boyfriend got to try three different dishes. They were all very poor quality and taste. The crepe was overfilled with filling which was way too much and ruined the crepe…The strawberries tasted and looked like they came from a can. The eggs Benedict was also really poor as far as taste and quality. They overdid it with the sauce and added way too much ham. There was no balance and it was very bland. Only thing was descent were the country potatoes."

"we love the bar and the ambiente of the historic building. the barkeeper was great and the service was helpful. the main course was not good. we ordered the bistro file, medium rare. we were served a middle well cut tri tip to eat too hard. I asked about the filet and they said the name means it will be steak? I also had a small potato in my potatoes. they were thin and costed by flour. I just give feedback so they can take a look at their kitchen and find one way to return it to the great it was earlier. cathy"

We had Rib-eye and Sirloin here; We had to send it back because they are very rare, although we rarely ordered medium. But when it came back for the second time, it was still quite rare... "Food was very good, however the service was a mess. It was empty yet almost everything we ordered was messed up. Most of the issues came from the bar and they could just not get it together. They turned the music off on us before our entrees even came out which made the meal awkward for the remainder of the time. It was pretty uncomfortable as you could just hear the waitstaff talking and it made us feel as if we were inconveniencing them. I think they wanted us to leave because we were basically the only table in the place."

"We were looking for a steak without going to a high priced steak restaurant. My wife had eaten at the Corner Pub 2 weeks ago for lunch. She had the “ meat +2 and told me in an email how good it was. Well tonight we looked at several places that were either high end or not in the downtown area. She said, “I wonder if Corner Pub has steak?” I checked their page on Google Maps and the second picture showed a ribeye and baked potato that looked good so we went. We were promptly seated and our server, Gage S was on us in a flash. He was extremely nice, patient and helpful. Both of us had the ribeye/med rare, loaded potato, side salad and an excellent **** Mary. All of our food was cooked to perfection rivaling our local very high end steak restaurant. Our experience was the greatest, food excellent, service from Gage S. phenomenal and great price. We have found our new favorite steak restaurant in Nashville!!"

"The first thing I ordered was the hot chicken chunks. I asked if they could change it to a hamburger and they had no problem doing so. The hot chicken chunks taste burnt. The waiter states they get that same complaint quiet a bit. Parking was tight but the atmosphere was great. Service was spectacular. THE CHEESEBURGER WAS ON POINT AND DELICIOUS!"

"It’s a loud sports bar. All the food was tasty. We placed our order with a couple of appetizers. The appetizers came out with the entrees (minus one entree). The pasta dish that was served was not hot. We couldn’t find our server so we asked another server about the missing entree. He said he would expedite it. The rest of us finished our meals and still no entree. Had to get the manager involved to get our missing entree. He apologized said they were slammed and comped part of the bill. Not the greatest experience."

"We had made a reservation for 5:15 before attending a 7:00 show. We arrived on time and were seated promptly. However, at 5:42, we had to flag down a passing host to let them know that we had not yet been served by a waiter. The server eventually arrived a few minutes later and provided good service, though there was no explanation for the initial delay. Due to the time constraints, we ordered our drinks and dinner together. Our food arrived at 6:18 and was delicious. We highly recommend the Statler chicken, even though they were out of the Statler and substituted it with 2 boneless breasts. This was our second time at G-Pub and it remains a good option before attending shows at PPAC."
