"very nice atmosphere. plush comfortable chairs like in a comfortable living room. the trio was really good. band leader was a woman who played an upright bass. very cool. the service was terrible. the only cocktails on the menu were made with bourbon and roggen. understandable, because that is what they are distilling. I don't drink one, so I ordered a gimlet. the waiter looked at me as I was from the mars and said: "I don't think I can do that." I asked if they had a full cash and he said he did it, but he would be too hard to get something that wasn't on the menu. he finally agreed that he would give it in a huff. the woman behind me actually said that she didn't think it should be so hard to get a gimlet. the drink was good when he finally arrived. the waiter went on to command others to take over, and was so loud that he dealt with the sound of music. each individual patron was calmer than he. the best word I can use to describe it is surly. if they can't be nice to customers from the business"
