"So...... Needed a place to eat and my lovely girlfriend suggested this place. Well obviously she has good taste ? dating me) and we went to New Britain Diner, well fantastic! Friendly waitresses and very efficient kitchen, so the food was really fantastic. Homemade soup, potato pancakes and Mac and Cheese was awesome !!!!!"

"Passing through in the 18 wheeler and pulled over on the side of the road to grap a pie!!! Delicious..My husband did say the young lady (hostess) was very rude though. however the guy that made the pizza was nice. It only takes one mean person to ruin a business or review. "Service is absolute garbage. Place is near my house and one of the few restaurants delivered in the pandemic. Of course I ordered them regularly. You made little mistakes before, but nothing I couldn't handle, so I let it slip. But after this day I will not eat there anymore. How do you make a salad? How can you forget any vegetables that should be included with salad BUT of salad? And in addition, if you are aware of this error, how is the answer not as easy as we replace it. Instead, I was given the feeling that the mistake was MY FAULT, and even at worst I was told that I could go back there to get the missing vegetables... Lol. I should leave a SECOND time to get the veggies you forgot. Okay, don't worry. No more spending my money where it's not worth it. I will find a new family restaurant with much better service. But if you eat here, check your food first. Trust me, they have to screw something up. Smh."

"Posting this review because I thought the food was gross. I started off with the Brisket and the Eggs and had to have them take it back because I just couldn?t get with the taste of whatever the green stuff was (it definitely didn?t taste like salsa), it was honestly kind of sour and the brisket was a bit tough and so I wasn?t a huge fan of that. I just opted to get a kids steak quesadilla and that was really good. The only thing I didn?t like is when I asked for sour cream, I was told they didn?t serve sour cream, which I found quite astonishing, nor did they sale salsa, and so they brought me pico de gallo instead. The Gouda bites were good, but I wasn?t a fan of the chips and dip. Customer service was decent, but I just wasn?t wowed. Food is subpar."

"This was the first diner I went to where the waiters were attentive, polite, and didn't forget about us. The food was delicious, especially the burger with macaroni and bacon on top. The shrimp and calamari were great, and the oxtail was yummy. The drinks were also good. There was plenty of parking available. I had a great time with my family and friends. The prices were around $17, but it was definitely worth it. I will definitely be going back."

"Service is decent, prices are decent. The beignets are amazing. My husband liked the brisket and eggs. The lemon berry juice and cappuccino were very good as well. I ordered the smoked salmon avocado toast and was very disappointed. I was expecting slices of smoked salmon and was instead presented with a piece of toast covered in kale so I couldn?t see anything inside. When I dug through and found the salmon, it was in large chunks that were very hard and did not looked smoked. The overall construction was terrible as well. Everything else was good so I won?t sock them too far but I wouldn?t recommend the smoked salmon avocado toast at all."
