"It's a beautiful place! We have two craft drinks and appetizers and two meals. The drinks and the app were good, but the most important meals were very boring. There was no salt or pepper that would have helped, but the meal was a disappointment. Our bill was $100, but I think if we were back, it would be just for drinks."

"I already wrote this review once, and for some reason it wouldn’t let me finish with my private note because it didn’t like my nickname, but it didn’t say so. Doing a review for another restaurant I realized that was why it wouldn’t go. Anyway, we’ve been to fire and ice many times And never been disappointed but this time which was a special birthday celebration for two of the four of us, they seated us at a great table, round, and in front of the fireplace. I thought, “ this is perfect” quotation marks. And it was for a short time. then one of the staff, proceeded to spend quite a bit of time at a computer to our left, and making comments on our conversation. Totally inappropriate. One at our table, was reluctant to even speak, as she had some private things she wanted to discuss. The food was pretty good. Except the fish in the tacos was a little dry. The free desserts were delicious and much appreciated. And our waitress was wonderful."

"The ambiance of the restaurant is beautiful, with noise levels at a comfortable level, although they did have some challenges in that regard. The bar area is attractive, offering seating at the bar as well as cozy furniture nearby. The sides, particularly the corn shears, were excellent, and the salmon was also top-notch. We would definitely be interested in trying other meat dishes in the future. The overall vibe and pace gave the impression that they were still in the process of smoothing out operations since they've just opened. Despite this, it is definitely worth a visit."

"I had an amazing time at this restaurant! The drinks were amazing, the music was fantastic, and the veggie burgers were delicious. I recommend making a reservation in advance, especially if you enjoy live music. The band, with Johnny Jules on mandolin, accordion, bass, and lead guitar, was incredible on 11/17/18. It felt like a night in New Orleans!"

"I recently took a friend, who hadn't been to Dan's Bar Grill before, there for lunch. She had the turkey club and was very pleasantly surprised with the quality/tastiness of the sandwich. "BOTTOM LINE: Great experience here! Will likely stay again! LOCATION: Great location in downtown mobile. We could easily walk to various restaurants/bars. PARKING: Valet parking is available. We used the self-parking option (with in-and-out privileges). The garage is attached to the hotel. The only downside is that not all of the elevators in the garage were working...so we had to walk a little further and down a couple ramps to actually enter the hotel. ROOM/AMENITIES: The room was great! No complaints. There was a mini-fridge and coffee maker in the room. No microwaves, but they are available by request on a first-come first-serve basis. I workout regularly, so of course I had to check out the gym. It was just ok...much to be desired, but there was enough to get a decent workout in. Several cardio machines, a few weight training machines, a rack of dumbbells, and a couple benches. The pool area (which is near the gym) was closed for renovations, but it looks like it would be a great place to hang out once the renovations are complete. FOOD: There is a small market/cafe on the lobby level that sells coffee, pastries, and some breakfast sandwiches. they also had some grab and go items like salads and cold lunchmeat sandwiches. I had an egg white breakfast sandwich that was pretty good. I just wish there were more options. The restaurant on-site (Fathoms) is near the checkin counter. We stopped there to get some food after coming in from having a few drinks at a bar across the street. I ordered one of the flatbreads and it was delicious!"

"great but many room grow! I was looking for a special place to have a birthday dinner with 3 other mature and extremely demanding suburban women, both of whom were not overwhelmed to go to lunch in dc. I won them before location. so their location, besides two other things dragged me to this restaurant eating and the newness. I wasn't disappointed. I went into a very good scene new very different from the banana cafe. the color scheme and the artwork is beautiful! the food was great! I am from the low country sc and grew up on the dishes offered on the menu. (I see myself as an expert. eating was good and authentic. our server was charismatic and friendly. these are the things that would force me to return. also the choice of the music is superb. it felt like a soul food spot. on the afternoon, however, mainstays were not available on the menu soul rolls and either dessert (banan pudding sweet kartoffel pfund cake. I am not an expert for the restaurant, but I think that the soul rolls (in this restaurant of soul food should be a main available and loaded by 1 clock after half a day of opening (as they are closed Monday to evening, I thought they would go closed and go closed. at the end of eating and outing, I have made a comment about not getting the soul roll to the woman who seemed to be a manager of any kind. She brought us something out. they were here. someone from the kitchen also brought the müll out and went right behind us through the area. that was extremely disturbing. I hope that was the decision of the individual employee and not the direction of management. overall it was GOOD experience with good food. I am rooted for the success of this place. I will give it a little more time before I return. I'm gonna move!"

"more vegan, what is it about? I have high standards, but we didn't like eating at all! I have the meat leaf with a very old, tiny, hard maisbrot, where are the maische and gravy youngs?! my friend got a chkn sandwich, it was all so bad and eating that I'm pretty sure was just old, but they took forever to serve us old food. the bang was so hard! but not in a well that is fake meat so what they expect somehow, but it could break their teeth somehow, so bad! quality sucked, atmosphere seems cool. but not worth it. it did not try the tacos, but we do not plan to go back, sad. I appreciated the effort to have vegan options, but we did not appreciate the disappointment and we spent for bad eating."

"Great beer selection, always rotating and fresh! I've seen things on tap here I've not found anywhere else in Milwaukee. It's definitely a favorite. Their staff are great. As real as they come, friendly, and mostly beer lovers themselves. They want you to enjoy what you're drinking. Ask them about what's on tap, get a sample, and drink it all in. Food is great too. Been for the fish fry a number of times and it's solid and plentiful. Build your budget Wednesdays are also amazing. Lots of options to choose from and a fresh, tasty burger to put it on. Whatever soup or stew is on, get a cup. You're not likely to go wrong here for a meal. Overall, Benno's ticks all the boxes. Make it a stop of yours."

"The crawfish, potatoes, and sausage is all perfectly seasoned for a GREAT flavor! Im not sure if it's worth it because the service is HORRIBLE, when sitting inside(never sat outside). There was only a hand full of people inside. We were not asked how we would like our burger cooked and it was extremely dry. We asked for the fries cripsy(they were not cripsy) and for mayo(we did not get mayo). When the server brought out our food we stated what was wrong with the order. She okay, left and never came back or called our waitress. Our waitress never came back around to check and see if the food was good or refill our drinks. I had to flag down another waitress, to which she had the fries re-done, but by then the dry burger was cold. We finished our meal and no one came around so we could close out or tab. I had to flag down a server and asked for the manager. The manager came over, I explained to him the HORRIBLE service(as I was finishing the explanation our waitress walked up) he turned to her and said they want to close out their tab and walked away. No, I'll have a talk with my staff or I apologize for the service. This was not the first time, but we figured we give it another try, but nope service still sucks!"

"Due to a shortage of staff, like many places these days, our dining experience was a bit slow. However, this wasn't a problem for us as we were expecting it.
