"Tried the Huckleberry's on Champlain. I decided to try lunch versus the normal breakfast. I ordered the Louisiana Catfish. There are 2 options available, Bayou or Creole style. I ordered creole style which comes with tomatoes and mushrooms over the fish. Wasn't quite sure how the fish was prepared. Almost tasted a little crunchy but nothing that really indicated it was fried other than the crunch. It was over a bed of jambalaya and came with a side of tartar sauce. Can't say that either had much flavor. I ordered with a side of French fries and it came with garlic bread/Texas Toast that seemed to be cooked on a grill so came with a few extra grill remnants. The French fries had seasoning but very lightly cooked. They provided ketchup which helped. The Cajun style is geared more towards bland taste buds versus those ready for a true cajun/creole experience. For the idea of trying Cajun food then I'd say there are other options out there but for those that don't look for a lot of flavor but say you had it, go for it. Nothing bad to say about Huckleberry's I'll just continue to try different menu items until I find the wow factor everyone else has found."

"Had my 1st visit to this Huckleberry location! My party of 3 were So Very Impressed! Our server, Savanna, was beyond Great! She had a pleasant personality, had good menu recommendations, and checked on us often! We started with benoits that are served with 3 fruit compotes and vanilla cream. We also had catfish, beef dip, country fried steak, and sweet cream pancakes. We drank Huckleberry lemonade and caramel macchiato. Everything was So Good! This location has it all great service and food preparation! We will definitely be back! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5"

"The Louisiana Omelet was FABULOUS!! The shrimp were plump fresh , the Anduile sausage was also amazing. There was so much food, they certainly do not skimp on the portions which is so nice and appreciated!! For the side you can choose from several items like toast, fresh fruit , biscuits n gravy etc...... I choose the biscuits n gravy and YUM!! next up the Shrimp Poboy!! Being I am actually from Baton Rouge, La. it apos;s really great to find some foods from home that actually taste like home!! Thank you!!!"

"I always get the Benedict Scramble with poached eggs, love it, should have asked for extra hollandaise sauce. The Mardi Gras Beignets were good, but the cream filling was not inside the beignets, instead it was outside like the fruit toppings, kinda strange"
