"This is one of my favorite places to eat and has been here since it was opened 14 years ago. If you're looking for the typical TexMex fair of Enchiladas, Burritos and Tacos, they'll make some of the best I've ever had. But you really need to try some of the other dishes they offer. The Pork Chop Plate is one of my favorites along with the Chicken Breast Steak (smothered in Monterey Jack...hope hunger because it is a lot of food). If you want something spicy, try the steak a la Mexicana... the cook will light you up. Excellent food breakfast, lunch and dinner. Prices that cannot be beaten. Staff who feel like family."

"The one restaurant I frequent the most. I have not explored the menu extensively but damn those omelettes are a tasty burger! The burritos don't hit it out the park but maybe an infield home run is more apt to describe the taste, quality and size. And hey, it's still a home run but like with an asterisk. I wish they'd stray a little off the traditional Mexican-American cuisine path, y'know like taking a wrong turn in Albuquerque kinda straying. What remains however, is that I visit often and sometimes get it delivered but always enjoy the consumption nonetheless."

"Quick after-school snack run for the kiddo and I to tide us over before dinner. We got seasoned ground beef nachos(shredded cheese, sour cream, beans, guacamole, and red sauce) chips we're super crispy, crispy chicken burrito, cheese quesadilla, and a Bavarian cream stuffed churro. As I pulled up with my 4 dogs in tow the drive thru worker noticed my barky-smarky pups and asked if they would like a treat. This was an unexpected kindness that my puppers got their own lil snack. Service was quick and friendly."

"Easily my favorite Mexican restaurant! I basically grew up on don pedro (so I may be partisan) but this place has forged a tradition as a mainstay in my life for the past 10 years. The juicy, tender carnitas brightened by the fresh Pico de Gallo has to be one of my favorite flavors ever. I normally order the carnitas tacos but you can't go wrong with the enchiladas plate either. The horchata and tamarind beverages are solid, would fs recommend. Lastly the price has remained reasonable when the price of every other restraunt in the area has skyrocketed. Easily the best Mexican restraunt in sw Portland."
