"the culinary experience was very good. very difficult to hear our server during the meal due to the noise level. the lobster was very good, but not a great value. I had more tasteful ny strip steaks and the most expensive bottle of wine I could find was 155 dollars. a very nice birthday dinner in the did, but this restaurant and prices are beneficial for business cost accounts and not family food."

"The food and service at this restaurant are incredible. We arrived a bit early for our reservation and were impressed to see many expensive cars using the valet service. The oysters were fresh, and my ribeye cap and lobster tail were definitely worth the price. My friend tried the lamb and said it was the best he's ever had. They have a great selection of bubbly drinks. The service was excellent - attentive but not overbearing. I would love to go back soon."

"We were so excited to try Steak 48 as it has such great reviews but to us, it honestly didn't live up to the hype. It was very good but there are plenty of very good steak restaurants in Charlotte. Be careful of choosing the backbar seating for dinner as they will very seriously seat you at the bar and not a table in the bar area. Sitting at the bar for a $300+, 2 hour dinner is a little awkward (think holding the menu in your lap while you eat your appetizer). Overall, we will very likely go back for a special occasion or two as it was very good and the service was impeccable."

"We have eaten at many steakhouses and thought that this one was one of our best. We started with the meat balls and the crispy shrimp in the eggs. Both were excellent. My sons ordered the small sized ny strips. They were thick and flavorful. I had a the large bone in filet. Was so meaty. My wife and daughter had the sea bass and crab cakes.. steaks were cooked to perfection and the seafood melted in your mouth.. service was excellent. Eric our waiter was very attentive. Something you don’t always experience eating out in post COVID."

"The waitress spilled water on me, although I understand it was a mistake, would’ve appreciated another bottle of water since she spilled the entire thing. guys standing to the right near the bar were very loud and rude, kept laughing about the water spill, then someone slipped on the left over water later and they kept laughing and being obnoxious the whole time. amazing food and amazing resturant i think i just went on a bad night. overall steak48 is still my fav resturant just wish this experience wouldve been different considering it was my friends bday and their first time there"
