"I write the review after a week trip to sf. it was probably the most pleasant meal I had during my stay. on the menu there were at least one side of vegan/vegetarian options. I ordered a baby corn combo that for a few extra dollars added quite a lot of dinge. the food was good and the price was okay considering how big it was."

"I 've never ate Indian food before and let me tell you, it did not disappoint! I consider myself a foodie and my palate was pleased with the amount of flavor in every bite of food I ate. I was a clean platter for sure!I can 't remember the names of the dishes, but the meat in our dishes, CHEF 'S KISS cooked to perfection. I had chicken in my dish, my son had lamb and our friend had goat. I had a taste of all 3 and they were all divine in their own unique smell and taste!The atmosphere was pleasant and inviting, service wasn 't bad but wasn 't anything above and beyond to win me over to say it was great. It was your basic food industry service. We will be back for sure though"

"I had a great experience at Deccan Spice. My wife and I brought a vegetarian friend who enjoys Indian cuisine. It was the first time there for all of us and we were all impressed by taste, size of portions and menu options. It took a surprisingly long time for someone to come to us after we first sit, so we didn't have any water or nothing as we searched the menu. I ordered starters, but at the same time as our entrees, because the service was initially slow. It was also difficult at the end of our meal to get the bill and pay. I finally went to the counter to get the attention. That means I'll like to return to Deccan Spice because the food was brilliant and our server was pleasant."

"This is a great restaurant with delicious food and very pleasant service. We had my son's first birthday party last weekend and it was more than I could ever ask. My guests enjoyed the food and service. So fast and clean. They helped us at the event and I couldn't have been happier. They are so well appreciated compared to other Indian restaurants. Her thalappakatti Biriyani and fish fry are dying. My husband and I usually go to casual lunch and dinner and we are so happy that we chose their banquet hall for the party. It was so spacious and very well organized. Surprisingly, even her vegetarian dishes were so delicious and we enjoyed every day. Thank you. "Since moving from the northeast, we have tried almost every Indian restaurant in Jacksonville and MAA Kitchen is the best. Everything tastes freshly made, and there are always pleasant surprises. You know its freshly made because the food trickles out piping hot the first 15 minutes after the lucnh buffet opens up. Many times you see the chef carrying out one of the main dishes he just finished. We go for the Sunday lunch buffet as brunch, and there are always a few different dishes that keep it exciting, while the more common dishes are always very well made and reliably yummy. I appreciate that they put signs out for all dishes so you can remember the ones you've liked best."

"my shrimp curry court was good. my man had the buffet. the chicken ktikka was outside and not filled again while we were there. unfortunately the service was very bad. it began to argue with me that I made a reservation in an open table. then, after taking our order, he never brought our drinks. he never refilled our water and we had to get the leak from someone else. our waiter never returned to the table."

"Great food! Very fresh. We tried their chicken chilly, dum biriyani, goat roganjosh, butter naan, matar paneer, plain dosa and butter milk. Absolutely loved their chicken dum biriyani! My 5 yr old had biriyani for the first time ever and yelled “yummy”. That’s reason enough for me to go back there! The service was extremely good. Our server was very attentive, and went over and beyond to help even before the need to call (unlike a lot of other places where we wait to call someone if we need something). A+ to the server."

"I was blown away that they have a lunch buffet with clearly marked vegan and vegetarian options! Even the salad bar had vegan and vegetarian signs including their salad dressings and sauces! I LOVE Indian food! Generally buffets aren’t as good as ordering and this buffet wasn’t an exception but I had to try it because of the clearly marked signs. The buffet was only $12 which is pretty cheap for Indian food. I’ve ordered off their menu before and if you know what you want I would recommend this over their lunch buffet. Their website has their menu so give that a look."

"We wanted Indian before going to a show at the Eisemann. We found this on open table and it worked great. It is a fast casual in a shopping center full of restaurants and appears to mainly be a lunch place. We had a waitress but I think it may be counter order for lunch. . It worked great for our purposes as relatively quick service. Food was very good. Wish there was one close to me as rarely go to Richardson. Recommend the biryanis. Not very crowded on a Thursday night"

"Wow is this place fantastic. I can't believe it took us so long to find it. A truly top tier Indian restaurant hiding in the middle of Glendale. We had the non-vegetarian combo with chicken tika, tika massala, palak paneer, and navratan korma. The perfect amount of food for a date night, and we loved every bite. Will definitely be back!"

"Delicious vegetarian food. Every plate in the tali had a distinct flavor, the naan had a perfect degree of crisp and chew, and the mushroom mutter had complex flavors. The food exceeded my expectations on every level and I can't wait to try more. The portions are generous and amazing value. It was very busy on a Saturday night and the staff was working hard. The music was a tad too loud for conversation."
