"The food and service were excellent at this restaurant. The Madras Coffee and Garlic Naan were some of the best I've had. The Tiffin and South Indian items were delicious and authentic. The Indo Chinese dishes were also quite good. However, the paav-bhaji was a bit disappointing. Overall, the service and ambiance were decent. I would rate the food 5 out of 5."

"I was pleased to find a new Indian restaurant near home so I had to check it out. I perused the menu online and found they had a generous offering of dishes and I made my reservation and headed over. However I readily discarded the menu when they explained the evening's specials. The appetizer of thinly sliced and fried Chinese eggplant with tamarind sauce was a treat. It should have been a hint how how I was to be blown away by the entree. The Frenched(! lamb chops served with a cashew sauce was amazingly divine. The sauce was beautifully balanced with cardamon and the chops had that perfect spot of pink. I unabashedly licked my fingers repeatedly after each half of each double chop had been gnawed clean. Luckily I had garlic naan to help wipe up the remnants from the sauce that lingered on my dinner plate. I couldn't finish the generous portion and I demanded that they get every last drop of the sauce into my take-out carton. The service was attentive without being overbearing, too. Please checkout this place and let them be successful!"

"Amazing Indian food. Not too spicy, not too oily and not too much cool or sugar. I ordered a party at home and each item was loved by guests. Especially Samosa Bhel Chaat was a great hit. I also ordered Gobhi 65 for appetizers. The main course was Malai Kofta and Butter Cleaner Masala with Butter Naan. Chicken-Bryani and Veg distributor-Birayni were too good. Rasmalai was my personal favorite. I am so glad that I came to them and they are obliged to take order. If you stay close, this could go perfectly to eat or order. Great job guys!"

"Not what I've come to expect from Indian buffets. No soup or pakora or samosas. Two options of white rice varieties. Only tiny bottles of water and cold, flavorless Indian tea. The naan was dry. The shrimp curry was so salty that it was basically inedible. Pieces of chicken in the butter chicken were mostly bone. The other dishes I tried were lacking in flavor or so strongly of one overpowering flavor, like the paneer which was just smoky and nothing else."

"let me start this review by stating that I can only imagine for a lacto-vegetarian, this place must be amazing! my man and I went late afternoon, an hour or so before the buffet ended, and it was still swung with people! we had to wait for a table, and it wasn't even the height of lunch! not only that, but it is a very popular place at people who speak with the authenticity of eating. after said, it is not a very vegan friendly situation. while I have read reviews below that say differently when I called earlier to confirm that it is what we could eat on the buffet, the person seemed to be extremely satisfied. he said he thought there were two or three things. when we arrived, as I did in the vegetarian buffet, I asked one of the server to walk through the vegan items on the buffet. he didn't seem to be sure, so I asked another one who made me through. again he did not seem to be sure (and he was not compatible with the last server.) I wondered if a manager has run through me . . again did not identify the same amount of vegan friendly items. objects that should have been vegan, we were told that only a little milk. we found that all 3 individuals had pointed out a common object and the rice. we were very disappointed. if we hadn't been a hurry to make it a date, we might have sat down and run through the menu in detail. . . . or gone somewhere."

"This is the best bang for your buck as far as Indian food goes IMO. There are a lot of good options in the Polaris/Lewis Center area for Indian food, and this sits at the top of my list, personally. I prefer Cake Walk over some of the higher priced establishments. Especially their Chicken Tikka Masala try it in comparison to other places, and check out the price tag on it in comparison. You'll love it!"

"NEWEST UPDATE 8 3 23: We did try Masala again, and ordered all VERY mild, but their level of spice is just too much for us. Very good food, but too spicy for our palate, so for those who like that, it 's great food! : UPDATE And now, this was the fastest owner response to a complaint we 've ever had! The owner called me approx 1.5 hours after I called in to tell them about the spice level problem, and apologized profusely. He hadn 't even read this review yet. He is refunding our money, said the kitchen mixed up our order with another who wanted medium plus , he has new staff, and so yes, we WILL try them again. He could not have been more apologetic or nicer, and so I will update this review once more after we order mild in the future, and get to EAT mild . : Fastest review turnaround I 've ever done. Ordered at 10:51 a.m. today, it was ready by 11:04, we finished tasting at 11:25. There is VERY little chicken in the korma maybe 4 little pieces and the rest sauce. Both the aloo gobi and the korma were ordered Mild , and BOTH dishes are far too spicy for us to eat. The just over $30 for small portions of overly spiced food is now in the trash. And when we called back to ask if a mistake had been made, as we could not eat their food, the woman answering the phone didn 't seem to care AT ALL. This was our first and now LAST time ordering food from this restaurant."

"In an area filled with vegetarian Indian restaurants with many vegan options, I must say they are not the top in any way. I went with the intention of having a dosa, and they had a $8.99 lunch buffet coming with a dosa. The manager showed me what was vegan and even said, let me check for one thing and went into the back and said it wasn't vegan. This adds points there as he maintains and double checked. I had an eggplant curry that had good taste, but the eggplant was really big and undercooked. There was another dish with cabbage that was delicious and it was very little left and they had no more. He wanted me to want more. I had a masala dosa and it was best okay. The dosa itself was overcooked and not very tasty and it was minimal and tasteless and contained peas. Not that there is a problem with peas, but not my choice to have them in a dosa. Overall, I am not sure if I would go back with the other options in the area."

"Disappointing. Third grade. Too expensive compared to the standard of food, ambience and service. Rest of the food items aside, first time I saw bidibelibhat so watery and full of potatoes. Brought sambar in small plastic container that usually would beused for sauce/chutney. I did take a few bites of dosa but couldn’t get to sambar looking at the container. And finally leftwithout eating, and enjoyed Taco Bell instead. I am not sure what are Bellevue city protocol to let a place like thisoperate. 1. No Covid precautions, spoons and forks are kept in plastic boxes that can be touched by anyone 2. They serve hotsambar in plastic container 3. Hot bisibelibhat served in bowl not meant to serve hot food, container was absorbing all theliquid"

"I recently went here with a group of friends. It is mainly southern Indian cuisine, and a couple of my friends who’d been to India before said it was just like the food they ate while there. I was also encouraged to see that almost all the other patrons of the restaurant appeared to be of Indian background, which reassured me that the food was a good, authentic example of Indian cuisine. I liked Indian food already, but upon arriving we discovered that there was a $10 buffet that evening (a Thursday). There were so many options, there was no way that I would have been able to sample them all, and the staff there were very helpful in assisting one of our party who has dietary restrictions in identifying dishes she could eat. As a vegetarian myself, it is always a treat to eat somewhere that I don’t have to worry about finding the few things I can eat on the menu (Masalaa is all-veg). All of the food we tried was absolutely delicious, and you can’t beat that price for a sampling of so much tasty Indian food. I live in downtown Denver, so it’s a bit of a drive, but one I’d consider worth making again to enjoy Masalaa’s tasty fare."

"Lately, the quality of food service that you get from this place is going down hill. We ordered chicken dish for take out once got back home realized that it was replaced with vegetarian dish. When called back to ask if this can changed, the guy at the counter suggested that the dish we got is pricier than the dish we ordered(as if that changes the dish from vegetarian to chicken). This place used to be my go to, since last 10-12 years, but the service needs to be updated with latest changes. A lot of new restaurants are giving better service than this location, better move on to next restaurant."
